My late father used to play Regine and Jose Marie Chan Melodie’s . Regine got me singing Tagalog songs havent a clue what I was singing since I spoke a different dialect . Made my mother proud . Wow that song with Regine and Gary v or Ted iTo. I miss my dad . Thanks Topher for the love you give to Filipinos

Throughout history we've had a lot of phenomenal belters. What sets Regine apart for me is that until now, she can still sing and be on top of her game. Not many can do that. A lot sang great back in their prime days but can't retain that voice quality when they hit mid forties. Regine is still delivering it! She may not be as famous or as known world wide as the great Mariah, Whitney, or Celine, but she is still hitting those notes better than anyone at this stage in her career. 🥰

Since you're not familiar with the Mariah song regine did, the main difference is she belted some parts that Mariah did in falsetto. Look up "Never Too Far" by Mariah Carey.

Love your reaction. You are so right.. Regine is a force of nature. She has looked after her voice and even now, at her age, her voice is still unparalleled. No disrespect to Mariah but Ms Carey doesn't sing as well as she use to.. Regine just keeps getting better and better.

Hi! New subscriber here. I dont normally watch reaction till the end of the video. But, i dont know for some reason i love to watch your whole reaction vodeos. Maybe because you have a spot on comments and most of all you are an artist as well. On that note, since you are reacting to filipino singers, why not react to TNT Boys performances as well. Doing this, will make you realize how hard it is to win a singing competition in Philippines.
