1 of my favorite things to do is watch people see Morissette for the 1st time. Mori has a ton of content, and is most likely the greatest female singer on the planet!
Totally agree. There are TWO reactions that are my favorite (I hope you're reading this Zyyhan, you'll get another big bump of subs if you react to my other favorite just like the bump you got with Morissette) to watch people react to for the first time. One of them is Mori, as we just saw, and by the way Zayyhan, you've seen nothing yet with Mori. She has quite a few tricks up her sleeve that you still need to check out in terms of vocal prowess. You were 1000% correct when you said she knows her voice VERY well. The other band I love watching people react to for the first time, which I REALLY hope Zayyhan checks out as I think she'll have a lot of fun and will have a huge smile the entire time she's reacting once the initial shock wears off lol, is Babymetal. I HIGHLY recommend checking Babymetal out Zayyhan. I think more people need to learn about these amazingly talented and humble Japanese ladies. Most of their songs have a positive message in them, they're VERY high energy, and they are a lot of fun. They LOVE their fanbase and they LOVE involving their audience into their songs. In fact they even consider the fans as part of the band... it's too bad we don't get the salary though! lol Anyhow, You don't look like a lady that listens to metal or rock, so for a first song I'd recommend maybe Megitsune Live (although the music video is also very good to watch), Catch me If You Can, or Metali. Metali was just released recently, so the girls will be a bit older now. When they first started back in 2010, the main vocalist was very young at only 14 and the 2 back up dancers/vocalists were only 12. Now the vocalist is 25. Anyhow, that is my recommendation. I'll be subbing in the hopes you check them out and so I can see you react to more Morissette. I'd also recommend checking out her singing I Wanna Know What Love Is Live MYX version. As for Mori being beautiful, well, you're no slouch either. You're very pretty as well, so no need to worry yourself about that lol
She's once in a generation artist. She's a cover assasin nailing almost all cover songs she performs like those Mariah songs as well as being tag as Mariah's daughter, Beyonce songs,, Whitney songs, Celine Dion songs, Jesse J songs, Ariana and many more.Have'nt you noticed that her vocals has similarity with all those great artist mentioned above.Dig more to her stuff and react all the artist songs I mentioned.
Morissette's is a Queen of vocal in Philippines. She has performance this song RISE UP It has been deleted multiple times, the reason bcoz she sang better than the original. If w/o interrupt of deleted this videos, it has been gain more 350M views in RU-vid itself.
Her voice is beautiful, but calm the hell down ,she is not better than the original singer because first of all you can tell that English is not her first language, so it’s distracting when she’s trying to casually pronounce words, and the original singer sang it the way it was intended to be sang. Nobody’s jealous of this girls vocals especially not the original singer so calm hell down with that.
If you want an exact sequence of listening...... secret love song 211 million views; never enough 48 million and then the giant icing on the cake ..... Akin ka na Lang 167 million views, a love song, in friend zone, uses subtitles, dear. Get ready to leave for the moon and then pull straight to Mars. 😉😊
She is among the world's best vocalists (my all time favorite) and has a ton of covers from nearly every genre, plus some of her own original material. But I suggest you start with a couple more Wish Bus performance, like Never Enough and Akin Ka Na Lang and go from there. You'll get lots of different requests from her many fans.

This was like a few years ago but now she has improved a lot like her low register and belting power are superb. She's a vocal monster nowadays! ❤ she's one of the best in the world.
Give a listen/reaction to this same song but she does it acapella with a group called 3rd Avenue!! This version is gorgeous....but you will be even more stunned with the acapella version. She's one in a billion and she will be worth your time to listen to more of her performances.
And: she was actually under the weather on the day that was recorded (You can hear that it is „hard to breath“ for her - as compared to her other recordings.) And yes, the breaks in her voice are not only intentional, her „squeaks“ are actually her signature sound. 55 year old white male in USA. Discovered Morissette a couple years ago. She is my favorite singer ever. She gives me goosebumps everytime. I also believe she is tight up there with the Whitney’s and Celine’s and Mariah’s. Her voice is full, dynamic and yet beautiful. She unlike those other singers, she is way more than just that. For Mori‘s own music: that would be „Akin ka na lang“ or the songs of her EP, I recommend „Phoenix“ or „Love you still“. (And don‘t watch the music video, always go for live versions, preferably on the Wish-bus!)
Finally you have come across an ARTIST who actually knows how and where to take a song and how it should be delivered, none of this bells and whistles nonsense, you dont mess with Morissette because you will come away with a bloody nose, she has the greatest tone, she has the most control, she the greatest performer, she gets your attention as soon as she opens her mouth but her stage craft is 2nd to none, she sings to express and not to Impress, shes not interested in all the fame and fortune, she just lives to sing and perform, theres too many so called artists that think they are a cut above but she is a cut above the rest by quite a long way, her recent co-written and co-produced material with her husband DAVE LAMAR are absolutely 1st class, i dare anyone to even try to cover her material, it would be impossible, shes in a league all of her own, the only one who can outdo MORISSETTE is MORISSETTE herself, i listen to her every day and have done for over 5yrs and boy does she brighten my day, im going to Italy next month to hopefully get to see her in concert if i can get tickets, fingers crossed 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

Referring to her mouth movements - she has STUDIO SINGERS HEADPHONES MOUTH... It is common for singers, when singing to the backing track, to remove (or move slightly) one of the ear pieces such that they can hear their own voice better. Along with this - many (Morie included) will direct their mouth movement imperturbably towards the "open ear". This is usually because the engineer is UNABLE to get the latency close enough to 32ms or better. It's also done by some singers in live performances by blocking one ear completely to better allow them to hear their own voice over the backing band. Personally I think it makes her look even cuter.

Two more great female singers are Sohyang and Floor Jansen. For Sohyang I recommend "Arirang alone" and "Misty" (the Begin again version). For Floor Jansen currently lead singer of the band Nightwish, "Ghost love score" is a great starting point. Three very different songs from two very different singers, but such good music!
