A must see is Morissette performing Akin Kan Alang on the Wish Bus. This is the song that the boys of SB19 covered in another video. Watch the Wish Bus performance with English subs. As for Darren, he'll also blow you away but you need to start with Chandelier when he was 14 on the Wish Bus. He and Morissette also performed a Chandelier showdown on the Wish Awards show.

So glad you finally discovered Morissette and Darren Espanto. Both are established solo artists as well. Before I came across SB19, I was watching Morissette's and Marcelito Pomoy at the Wishbus. Morissette's original song Akin Ka Na Lang is a huge favorite always..she has many performances at the Wishbus. Darren Espanto started much younger and even then his performances are outstanding too. Morissette has a newer song with Disney in time for the promotion of the Disney channel last year, entitled 'Imagine More' ..one of my favorite songs which she covered was 'Could You be Messiah', and her Bruno Mars Medley. I loved the duet of Darren Espanto and Jayda Avanzado entitled ' Sana Tayo Na' and his cover of Chandelier at the Wishbus. Also try to find the fancam live stage performance where Darren had a duet with Calum Scott - song entitled Heaven.

Morissette was flown to Japan ( Darren couldn't go due to prior engagements ) to meet Will Smith, and Alan Menken ( composer of A Whole New World ) to have a chat in person. If you happen to visit the islands, you will be surprised that Celine Dion and alike can be found just by roaming the streets. I was amazed witnessing this. 80 to 90% of the people sing.

What an intro to Mori! She has a duet with Alan Menken for the Aladdin promotion too. 😉 Mori ends Disney+ PH Night of Wonder, the same show Stell did a medley. She sang a new song that was written for her, I believe. Darren actually had to train his voice to a lower key to sing this. He can match Mori any day. His range is fantastic!

So since you are a musical theater fan, seek out Morissette’s Stages Sessions videos of B’way classics like Defying Gravity, She used to be mine, etc. she absolutely knows how to change her way of singing based on the genre. From pop to musical theater to rock, etc. She is an amazing artist. Lastly, pay homage to her debut EP of 5 songs where she co-wrote and co-produced for the first time. Every genre is covered. It’s fantastic.
