She's insanely Talented! Incredible renditions of a difficult song ! You need to have 3 sets of lungs to Cover this kind of song! Endless high belting! She doesn't need to oversing nor to do so much runs and riffs just to called amazing to make any covers of hers sounds like her own. When she sings a song, she just make it her own. Resignation, Defying Gravity, She Used To Be Mine, Fly Like A Bird, Listen, and a lot more.

Yeh I hate pause play. Not to mention an editing nightmare haha. Plus it takes me out of the zone. To me, reactions is all about how it makes you feel and that's what I like to talk about. I can't go technical as I'm not a musician, but simply someone who appreciates talent.

@@adrianorocha5302 why do i say morissette is more interesting to hear than mariah's version ... 1) the mariah version has a really slow tone, while I think the morissette is just right 2) there is a morissette part that I think is more awesome than the mariah version ... 3) Morissette's whistle was better and clearer than Mariah's 4) I think Mariah's voice quality has decreased and sounds different from her prime due to age ...

Good point. The simplicity of this video is very captivating. More than that, she sings a good story as well. I've noticed she builds the songs with her dynamics and it draws in. For example, in her cover of Defying Gravity where it's just a wall, Christmas lights and her in her red collared shirt, I am so drawn to the song. Then belts/sings/says (???) the word "FLY!" and I want more!! But anyway, no flashy costumes or makeup or graphics or a million dollar production; just eye contact and a clear voice. Anyway, great reaction.

Hi Dan...well you were close in thinking it was the 90's.. first released on February 13, 2006 by Island Records as the sixth single from Mariah's tenth studio album, (2005). Morissette certainly was on point with this song and backups were phenomenal. So happy you reacted to this very difficult song to sing. Well done...She sure does make it look easy breezy !!

You actually missed the best part going into histrionics. She finished off her last whistle tone ended with her saying, "Jesus" in whistle tone. With Morissette involved you have to pay attention all the way through to the very end. Listen to this again all the way.

She's the only female singer who can give justice to Maria Carey's FLAB song. From tone, melody, rifts, runs to whistle tones. Other singers will sound either forced or worst if they would cover the original track of the song (if they would not sing it the way it should be sung).

You should really watch my live stream, vlogs and read my community posts as I talk about updates like this a lot. 1. I have a day job, so a lot of my time is spent working. 2. I've been finishing off building the studio you see in this video. 2 years in the making and a studio tour video coming soon. 3. I have a baby (she's 6 months old) so as much as I'd love to spend my free time making reactions, I'd rather have some family time, especially during lockdown as I won't get this time back so it's been great bonding with her. They're the main reasons for my absence. Back end of last year I was travelling, then editing the vlogs. But now I'm getting a little more free time now, I'm hoping to carry on with doing reactions. Saying that, I'm due to travel again soon for a few weeks so I might be absent again but it won't be for long lol. Then I've gotta edit the vlogs!

what is common among celine, mariah, regine velasquez and whitney is that they all have their own distinctive voices, tone and singing style same goes with as well as beyonce, britney, christina aguilera, j lo, they dont have to sing someoneelse's song bec. they have their own hit songs bec. they are big. they made it. and when you hear their voices on the radio or anyother music flatforms you can easily distinguish who is singing. they are not copycats of anyother singers. period.

I didnt grow up listening to Mariah. I didnt really listen to the radio. I spent my childhood out with friends, watching films or playing games. Maybe I've heard more Mariah songs than I even realise but I wouldn't know them by name other than All I Want For Christmas. One of my favourite Xmas songs actually. Other than that 🤷‍♂️
