She's my favorite vocalist but I understand why some don't like her. Rationally It has nothing to do with her. People are nuanced some get goosebumps and some don't. It's not even a conscious decision. I can see other vocalist with similar ranges and just overall amazing but I don't get goosebumps for them. It's the opposite for people who don't like her. Once someone decides to criticize any vocalist that others prefer, the entire argument is irrational, it turns into people intentionally watching someone they dislike just to find reasons to hate them.

@@GabrielEspecial I read elsewhere her range goes down to a bb2 and I’m pretty sure none here are that low. Her low notes are very full and beautifully emotive though, encourage you to look at other performances to hear some lower. Against All Odds has some low notes, as well as I wanna know what love is.

I've listened to Morissette incessantly since discovering her by chance a year ago (Youtubing Never Enough), and yet I keep getting bawled over EVERY SINGLE time. Her tone, emoting, agility, range, enunciation, musical sense, dynamics and humanity is just unique. And so wise beyong her years. Thank you for making the world a little brighter.

She made such smart choices with this set, not just the songs she chose but the arrangements as well. This is a great example! This Streisand inspired version really fits this setting and she just, to borrow a phrase from the dance world, "Sat right in the pocket"! The pacing was perfect! Shes just got that special something in her voice that just continuously breaks your heart open! Five down one to go! We haven't recovered from the last before another drops, and were not complaining! Thank you Stages!

I watched Barbra Streisand sing this, and no one will EVER sing it better, but Morissette, kept it exactly the same, no riffs or runs.....and adlibs. You can feel and see the solitude ,a alley cat feels (referring to the play). those low notes....D2....G2....amazing, and her high range F5's in head and when in whistle tone....G#7, almost 6 octaves. I think you got the notes wrong. Morissette, though having a truly wide vocal range, can’t hit A#1, it’s incredibly low. Also, she only has more or less 5 octaves, not 6...
