Breaks my heart that some parents are not supportive. If my kids ever came out I would be 100% supportive I love my kids so much.

Dragon dads are fierce I love the idea of this group I wonder if they have one for moms as well? Sibling support is also very important I am a lesbian myself I'm 53 years old and when I was a child and I came out I had no support it's so nice to see young people accepted and loved, I'm very proud of this community of dads that will go to the ends of the Earth to support and protect their child they are our children no matter what their gender specifications or sexual preferences.are the most important thing is to show them love and acceptance unconditionally.

I might be 38, but when i came out and stopped lying about being a woman and daughter and a sister, my mother didn't speak to me for three days, the worse three days, but then she called me up and said I love you, please forgive me i just didn't know and it toke me awhile to know i have a wonderful daughter. while my father was the first at our family table to hug me and accept me, it's taken him a little longer but he's never abandon me or told me i am not a part of family or welcome in his home. yes, I might be an adult, but having both my parents accept me as their child they still and cherish has met the world to me. Thank you Dragon Dads for showing that you can have pride in your LGBTQAI+ kids and still have faith and be whom you our as individuals yourself. Both of my parents are devoted Christians, and i feared would their faith come into conflict with me being not only trans but also a lesbian? and it did not, but listen to these children, this to this wonderful girl expressing the love for her father, and for all those whom hate, and those whom won't accept your children, pleae open your hearts your missing out on knowing and being part of a wonderful individuals life. The best part aside form just not living with shame and guilt of being a person i was not, is that when i came out to my mother and father, they choose my name when i was born, and they said well we made mistake cause of what the doctor said, but we don't want you using that name or the effeminate of it, which i was fine with. three days later they called me, another stranger period having no name, but called and said we dicussed the name we want our daughter to have, and just as the first time, they sat down and discussed a name filled with meaning and history that i carry with so much pride and love and that i will never change and can also proudly say when someone says so what did your parents name you, well, they did name me Annae Marie Ruth Gertrude Williams, and i love it, thanks Mom and Dad, and thank you dragon Dads and other supporting parents for loving your children and making them proud of whom they are weather they 1 or what ever age they are at in their lives.

My ex, who came out as a bi female, and then came out as a trans bi man, killed herself when she came out as trans due to her parents hating on here. :( Glad that there are religious families who whole heartily support their kids

We talk, were not on bad terms we just dont talk about our feelings. I long for that kind of connection, but I dont see it happening

Thank you for supporting your children my uncle abused me really bad physically I have permanent damage on my body from being thrown down stares & punched in head 10x suffocated with paper bag & he pulled bag of my head right be for I stopped breathing & emotionally for being lesbian dressed tomboyish & Im 42 & still doing therapy working on my Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from being so abused & I don't want anyone else going through what I went through & seeing this Dragon group gives me hope
