She already has you “pen trained”! Good Puddy. She is worth everything that you have not got to do today! Awww puppy kisses. Steph, she is just adorable! ❤️❤️🐾🐾
I remember how sad it was for the first few nights when we got our puppy. Just imagine being part of a litter and then, in a flash, alone! I'm glad she settled so quickly. She looks like she will do whatever you ask!! She is absolutely adorable!
Oh My !!!! Lovely Puddy. Thank you so much, for taking in Puddy and showering her, with the love. So adorable, seeing her on your lap. Every animal, needs love and care. Mine, is 10 years old and still loves to be carried.
She is so sweet. When you said she cried all night . I cried too. I am so sorry. She is your little baby now. You look fine and just like a new mommy. Steve is revamping the fence for Puddy protection.
Puddy is so cute! She seems so happy with her new home. I love that you got in the pen with her! Lol! I bet she would sleep just fine if she was in your bed, right between you guys! Lol! You guys are such good dog parents! 💚

You all make such a wonderful family Puddy is so lucky to have found Puppy Parents like Steve and Steph.... her Uncle Jerry had a hand in putting this new family together ...... she is so precious thanks for sharing this new chapter as Puddy Parents with us!!❤️❤️❤️
" I tawt I taw a puddy tat" Look a little closer Tweety... it's Puddy pup!!! 😂 Congratulations to you both on the new member of your family! She's just as precious as can be! 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
@@anneselby2293 Of course not you ninny! but puppies need to be socialized early with children. So, great advice. Do you have dogs? I think not or you wouldn't have been so quick to criticize. Sometimes it's better to think before typing and hitting send!!
I just love this picture. I dont know how many times i have seen this real mumma watching over her restless baby...❤ such love and patience. Bless u, mumma!
Adorable and worth all the early work you have to do. The more time you spend lovingly training her the better life will be for all of you and fun too.
Oh my goodness.. What a cutie! Yes I remember that crying screaming few first nights with my Rottie puppy..So much adjustment to a new life. Steph you out are so in 💕 love. Steve is to...such great parents...puppy proofing the yard. Thanks for sharing and get some rest!
Bonding time...she really is affectionate. Nap time over time to play. She is very adventurous and likes hanging out with her Mum and Dad. Just have a quick snooze in the sun. You guys are so lucky Steve kept saying No after Jerry passed because you were meant to wait for Puddy to come into your lives. Love and hugs from Australia. ❤️❤️🐨❤️❤️
You guys are the best Mammy and Daddy, What a lovely garden and play area you have created for your new baby. She is so lucky to have found parents like you
Oh my goodness she looks so much like little Jerry. My daughter went through the same thing we got her a dog for graduation and when Bennie passed away, she wasn't going to get another dog, but about 2 months later she got a cat and she loves her but still had a hole in her heart for a dog and she found a lady.... her dog had puppies so she got 1st pick and she chose the littlest one and he looks just like Bennie who passed away! So God bless you guys and I am excited to watch aunt paddy as she grows!
I understand why you guys are so in love with Puddy she is so wonderful. I'm so delighted that you finally got a new dog, you two need to give a dog all that love and a great home.
I see in her precious eyes....I AM HOME !!! I love my momma and daddy and my home so much!!! .. thank you both for adopting her...you are her angels. And she is your angel.. God bless you for your kindness and love you have given too her ...she is truly a happy child. Thank you 💖
Just like a newborn baby. At one point I was ready to give that puppy away!😁 She ended up being my heart dog - had her for 14 years. Puddy is such a love bug - she is really bonding well with you. ❤️ 🐾❤️
@Tingles from Tansy let’s hope right? My American Bulldog made it 10, i felt kind of cheated, then I thought, no that’s being selfish. He had the best life any dog could have and gave us more joy than anyone deserves, but God do we miss him so very much. If you have pets I hope they stay healthy and happy, they are so very special.
It seems like there could be an easier transition from a puppy being weened from the litter straight to the crate. Maybe slowly or increase the time in the crate at night.
Never ever had a kennel if not as a choice for animals and surely never alone on a first night,I am puzzled people like this. Why create such extra trauma?
@@midknight1968 You are so right. This is so unempathetic and without any knowledge, how to become of a mental stable dog. I seems like to train her, to stand more and more in a cage. Traumatic for this baby.
@@ES-pc8kf Please inform, what a dog is. They are animals which life in packs. To isoltate them, especially at a young age, cause damage. Even at a breeder. It's totally unnatural. This dog lost everything what he knew. And at the first night, you isolate him. This is really trauma bonding. Cause all this "funny dogs", which are "just" highly insecure an damaged.
I'm sorry it was a rough couple of nights for ALL of you. Puddy is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL Yes, she's learning a new life. You are ALL so lucky to have each other. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing Puddy. ❤️❤️🐶🙌🏻
I’ve had my Dachshund for a year now. He cried for the first few nights in his Kennel. I was living with my daughter and her family and I didn’t want him waking up the whole family. So I’d put his Kennel where he could see me and he wouldn’t cry. I slowly moved his kennel a little farther away from me each night. He now loves his kennel. He still sleeps in it at night. He has a bedtime just like a baby. He gets grumpy if it’s too much later than 10pm and he’s not in bed. He sleeps all night too. Love it. lol. Your baby is so sweet! What a good girl. 💖🎀💖
Yes right now she’s in that little cat kennel I made the dog bed for and it’s on a chair night next to Steves head in the bed so she hears us snore and we can hear her if she wakes up to potty ❤️ (blanket on top though but she can hear us)
Hi Steven Steph hey I just wanted to tell you that my friend of 37 years committed suicide he used to watch you guys all the time I just wanted to let you know that you had somebody who really really appreciated you and laughed all the time and had fun watching you and I just wanted to let you know his name was Ken and that he really really thought you guys were cool and I do too
Oh bless her little heart, she is so adorable. Hopefully she will settle more and will actually let you guys catch up on some sleep. Love her :-) Puddy is a joy to watch. She is so lucky to have you both... Have a lovely weekend Steven, Steph and Puddy :-)
Love your baby, love the awesomeness of you two! Thank you for sharing your blessing with RU-vidrs and letting the world know dogs are to be loved and cared for.
Oh My Goodness! She is a mini Jerry. Stephanie, I love puppy breathe! My Jetta is three now. time flies. I'm so glad you both open your hearts up for a new fur baby. Love me some precious Puddy! ❤️❤️❤️
You can wrap her in one of your shirts and put a ticking clock in her crate it sounds like moms heartbeat and that usually will calm puppies down. She's just beautiful love her!!
Hi Steve and Steph Those first days and nights with a new baby can be something else 😍!!!! But it all worth it in the long run 🏃♂️😉Give that pretty girl a hug and kiss from her friend Joyce and blessings to you all and take care of yourselves. Love you guys lots Joyce ❤!
Poor Puddy was missing her pack. She was probably scared and heartbroken. But it sounds like she was able to bond with you super fast thank goodness. And now you can't imagine a day without her ❤️❤️❤️
Steph Steve thank you for sharing this video as you leave aunt Puddy for the first time and Siblings she did awesome she is Pen Trained good job Puddy love you all have a wonderful and blessed day
The little hop she does, when she goes from standing to a run or walk is so cute. Omgosh, I'm so in love with little Puddy. My dog Mille that passed at 16 was a tiny little thing also. When I would take her out I would see her go poop but never pee. After the second day I was ready to take her to the vet, until I figured out that she was going pee, but she would stretch out on her belly flat, and go. After I picked her and got a wet hand, it clicked. She started squatting after she got a little bigger. Maybe she didn't like the grass tickling her girl parts when squatting, IDK, LOL
That's funny! they're all different though. Puppy's are the best they have that puppy scent like babies do. Mine passed at 16 as well I had a short legged runt of the litter Rat Terrier she was so devoted to me and such a good dog. It tore me to pieces when she passed away about 3 years ago still does.
She is so adorable. When you first mentioned her I thought she was putty until I saw her name written. My dog is a whippet crossed with a brindle staffie and has the brindle colouring.
She’s so stinking cute cute!! She definitely knows who her new mommy is and she loves you so much already Steph. I’m sure Steve gets a lot of love from her too. Can’t wait to see her grow up with y’all as her family. She is in amazing new family member and so lucky to have y’all 🤩🥰
Hey there, Puddy. You are so cute and so little, but you seem to be well on your way to getting your humans wrapped around your little paws. No more noise at night, though, you hear? Sleep at night and I promise that you'll feel better in the morning. There's plenty of mischief to get into during daylight hours. 🐕🦺
Puppies are just like human babies they cry a lot at first, but when they get use to there new surroundings it will get better. But the love they give you is worth the sleepless nights you have in the beginning.
She needs a sound machine..also there is this spray my vet recommended for anxiety its called Adaptil it contains fermones like the ones their mommy would put off..it calms them down with they are anxious or scared its been a life savor for our older chihuahua that doesn't travel well ..you just spray the kennel or their bed and walla relaxed and comforted baby
Thank you! I will try it! She doesn’t have any anxiety about her kennel anymore thank goodness but it will be nice when we start practicing leaving the house for 10 minutes then 20 then more just for practice ❤️
I knew it would be rough. I remember way back when we got Pepper as a pup. Oh my it was awful. We just finally had to let her sleep under out bed. We didn’t have the crates back then( 80’s) to train ours.
She’ll be in our bed when she’s older for the rest of her life ❤️ we just want to crate train her so she’s ok with us leaving for short times or emergencies or if Amanda needs to watch her or whatever at some point she will have a safe space to escape the grandkids for a nap 😆❤️
That’s awesome… the rice bag & heartbeat bear; it’s such a good idea, because they are “pack animals” & are used to sleeping with family. Those make it like she has a buddy to sleep with. (The kennel thing is good training though, not dissing that 👍; they just need to adjust to “that is their bed/own space) You are a good family for her. ❤️
I remember those days. We got our baby at 5 weeks because her mom stopped feeding the litter. My daughter was 12, so 2 am feedings were a thing of the past. It was hard waking up every 4 hours to feed her. But definitely worth every second.
