@@roughcutguitars I probably didn't word that very well, it doesn't read too friendly, my apologies. I just jumped on it cause i've been playing it a while and it's one of favorite tunes to play. I posted a clip of me playing it just the other day on instagram so it was fresh in my mind. I wont go into how dadgad is so different to drop d because i'm sure you are aware. Everything else in your comment I totally agree with. Tommy is almost beyond description as a man and a musician, this composition is magical and if there is a heaven, I'm sure this is the song playing as you arrive. cheers

Don't know when he was there but hopefully after Nov. '18 as I know a lot of good people up there would have needed the encouragement. Glad to know he played there.

A man who worked so hard at what he does. And became so good at it. What a blessing. And that particular guitar and sound set up that night was superb. That guitar "sang", at the mids and highs, yet was so mellow at the other end. I have listened to this performance about 16 million times :)

I think we have an agreement on that. Even after I listen to the greats like petrucci, malmsteen, van halen etch I always find tommy to be on a higher level.

Rod Morrison You may have heard this, but once at a show his hand went right through the body, it had worn so thin. But he had it repaired, and kept playing it
