Hey I just learned this . And thought it may help some people, your supposed to use mouthwash first and then brush because it will rinse out the fluoride. This is really important if your teeth are sensitive or if you have cavities. Ever since I started doing it my teeth are much stronger and most of my sensitivity has gone away❤️
When my dentist did my cleaning, she used mouthwash first. I also learned that mouthwash can find the fluoride from the toothpaste, so I mouthwash first too.
Whew, you floss am and pm. I hate flossing lol I only do it at night. These videos are great and you have great oral hygiene. I just got my braces and am stepping up my pm routine
I got my braces yesterday and this and your nighttime routine was really helpful! I bought a cheap waterpick online too because of your recommendation:)
@@VictoriaWamer it was some random brand on amazon, its only got 3 strength options so it isn't the softest but my mouth does feel v clean after using it (when I remember too aha) The braces themselves have mainly stopped hurting now that it's been a few weeks so that's made it easier :)
I'm so glad this helps, no worries, if you are concerned about the pain you could take ibuprofen so it won't hurt as much. From my experience it only hurts after they are on when you try to bite down on something. But when they go on it doesn't hurt.
Also i just learned that with or without braces and with or without electric toothbrush you should never scrub brush i will give you a link to a vid in my next comment actually i can't bc i am not on a computer but you want to 45 degree angle toward your gum and doing circles then flicking your toothbrush toward your brackets and repeat it for manual toothbrush for electric you want to angle it the same way with the manual toothbrush but don't do circles just guide it along your gum then flick the toothbrush and thats it. but you can only scrub brush on the chewing surfaces
I get my braces put on next week and this is really helpful! I noticed you change colors with your braces. Can u do a video on colors you recommend for brown/dark skin or where you rate your fav colors. That would be really helpful
Congratulations 🥳 I have a video about talking about all the colors I’ve gotten here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IRhE7-uYwdM.html but generally to make your teeth look whiter I would get darker colors like all the different shades of blue, purple, black. Personally on me I loved how teal, orange, purple, pink, blue, lavender and yellow looked on me. But I literally tried almost every color and I mixed them together as well. & sure I can do a video on that, that’s a great idea. Thank you!
You’re right so I only brush twice at night when I feel it’s necessary so not all the time. The fluoride is suppose to protect your teeth’s enamel and prevent the enamel from breaking down. If you’re concerned you should mention it to your general dentist. Just to make sure your enamel is okay.
Hii ! Is it normal to brush your teeth for 5-6 minutes with braces? Or how long do you take? I think it takes me long because i’m doing under and above my bracket, on my bracket, the surfaces or my teeth, and behind my teeth.
Ideally you should brush for about 2 minutes, when I had my braces I did take a bit longer as well for the same reasons you mentioned. It is important that you hit those spots but you should consult with your dentist or orthodontist to ask them if 5-6 minutes is too long.
Personally, I do, because the water pik does not remove everything, and flossing with thread helps remove plack food particles that can be stuck between your teeth. You should consult with your orthodontist.
This is even thought it’s me Lidia ohhh yeah this is thought me Lidia too y’all know hello 👋 it’s me and it’s me Lidia more and then more of to your hello 👋 ohhh yeah to you and then oh’s with you and then ohhh yeah oooh yeah
@@mikeking8959 I have used them before but they aren’t my favorite. I use the proxabrushes though. I have a video coming of all the different ways you can floss your teeth with braces with different tools.
