@@xXxBHANKAI Not just an injury, he passed away as a result of head injury after really high fall from ladder working on giraffe enclosure. Start from one of his obituaries, so you don't think I'm joking: "Tyler Powell age 27 of Cedar Springs, Michigan passed away May 4, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife, Caitlin Powell and cherished son, Ben Powell. Tyler was born to proud parents, Kelly and Hilary Powell. [...]" You can read up more online. Hope his family is alright, and I really hope all his fluffy friends doesn't think that Tyler has abandoned them...
I cried when i read Tyler had died. I know his animal friends miss him. To lose your life falling from a high place working with the animals seems unfair, but if it were me, what a way to go! We all have to die, and we do not know when that will be. Just getting in the car driving to work could mean the end. How much better leaving this world, doing the thing you love rather than fighting a terminal illness or as a victim of violence
I can't believe you're gone. There will be no more videos with Honey and Pooh, Shaggy and Scooby, Jimmy and the prairie dogs. Life is so very random, and often cruel. You got to live doing what you loved, thanks for sharing the animals with us. My prayers to your family. Rest in Peace Tyler❤.
Rest in peace, Tyler. I was heartbroken to find out what happened, thank you for the lovely videos, the animals and all of us love you. Thank you for everything 😔🩷
They are all so gorgeous! You are so lucky to get to pet and cuddle with bears. When I was a little girl we had a horrible local zoo with bears. I used to feel so sorry for them that I'd bring them fruit and treats every time I visited. They'd come up to the bars and eat from my hand, and let me pet them through the bars. I loved those bears but hated their concrete enclosure.
That zoo sounds horrible for two reasons; the bears forced to live in a concrete box, and the fact that a guest could stick their hand into the enclosure! Personally, if my zoo was like that, I don't think I could *bear* it
@@tyamonganimals it’s so sad looking at your comments. Knowing you are gone. I know you can’t see this but if you can, I hope you are happy with how you lived. And I can’t believe you are gone
Bears are Amazing, the level of intelligence exhibited by these guys are on the level of apes, you can just see in how they interact with Ty. It is also known that they have incredibly sharp memory, and will likely remember Ty’s face for the rest of their lives.
@@Meet_Your_Death bovines? we have selectibely bred cows to be stupid, cuz wild aurochs were too clever to manage (tho bulls remained almost the same, cuz their meat tastes awful and they dont produce milk) most wild bovines aren't the smartest by any means, but they ain't stupid
I feel like most, (including myself), watch these videos in awe of being able to cuddle and pet these animals. Thing is, realistically if you try to interact with them in the wild they will likely hurt, if not kill you.
Only now heard about his loss and im devastated, what an amazing person we lost... i hope the poor animals will still get the care they need, however i think even they will know theres someone no longer in their life 😢
we'll love and miss you forever, Tyler. thank you for sharing your life and your animal buddies with us. your work with animals is an inspiration. rest in peace. we love and miss you.
I know this video is 8 months old. But it's nice to see how you work hard caring for all your family. You respect their being and give them a good life and thats great to see. I assume these are rescues? Which means so much to me. Knowing how much we owe wildlife, considering how much we take from them in the way of habitat. Thank you for what you do.
@@anonymous891 Very sorry to hear that. I did not know anything happened at all. Videos are sparse and older so I have not heard. My condolences, of course. Very sad indeed. 🙏
I found this channel tonight. Subscribed. Laughed so much at the shorts and fell in love with the animals and this lovely kind wonderful man. Then I moved onto his videos, looked at the comments and see this incredible man has died?? 😮 No!!!!! I'm so sorry. 💔😢
I just kept smiling throughout the entire video, watching you with them makes me happy. Please post some longer videos :) You have such a great and healthy dynamic with them.
So sad that he really died. I thought it was an internet prank. Young guy with such a passion to care for our animal friends while teaching us. RIP Tyler ❤
Tyler Powell, also known as TyAmongAnimals, an animal caretaker at Deer Tracks Junction Adventure Park, died after falling off a ladder and suffering a traumatic brain injury. Powell was passionate about the care and quality of life of the animals at the park.
@@tyamonganimals - Well, at the very least, the bears enjoy your company, and they seem to understand and trust you - which is the definition of friendship.
My big dogs don't realize they are that big and strong. They don't realize you aren't as tough as they are. I can imagine bears do not instantly grasp that you are more fragile than another bear.
Water balloons might be fun for them. Pilates balls How about the super sized balls? Black bears might like a climbing pole. Maybe they’d all enjoy a big pool? Sprinklers? Heavy duty monkey bars Big knotted ropes to play tug o eat with each other? Slide? Something to chase? Maybe a remote controlled truck or something? A drone? Music? All animals enjoy music!
I wish bears cpuld be domesticated like dogs i like want a slightly smaller one maybe max 150max healthy also imagine having s bear that likes to fetch and is good enoigh to be a duck retriever
