The government is giving checks monthly to migrants for twice as much as typical rent in an area. All across the country. I know this for a FACT. Quit making excuses for this migrant program Democrat are running. It's disgusting.
House prices are over priced based on supply and demand. There are more people who need houses than there are houses. And yes the greedy are busy buying up the stock and then sell them at higher prices caused by them buying the stock. Immigrants are part of the demand but are not the cause of the high prices generally. So you can use these two facts to push your particular angle. Republicans love to blame immigrants for everything, it is their thing and it is very sad.
It is a major issue when you proclaim you are a Christian. This is major in comparison with someone who may have a genuinely wrong idea about morals. Vance chooses to lie every time, to fabricate stories and to foment hatred and violence except last night he tried to appear caring. This is major. For a catholic, this is a mortal sin. Not less. If he does not confess and repent, he will not make it to heaven. Am just saying for people who Every time I have listened Vance prior to the debate he has never said anything caring: about kids shot, he said this is "a fact of life", about women physically abused, Vance said "it is better for them to stay with the husband. Then you have the attacks on Haitians and although the whole community of American is threatened with bomb threats, Vance did not dial down his rhetorics. Etc, etc.
I am an Independent Moderate and heres my take on the debate.... VANCE-He was very smooth, didnt answer many questions but instead deflected and continually used his first minute with fluff and last minute attempting to answer the questions and sometimes lied but did it looking straight in our faces. But if you dont follow politics he sounded convincing. Definitely can tell he got an Ivy League education. He was definitely schooled on how to not be himself but portray what he wanted the American people to think of him instead and he acted that out flawlessly something Trump couldnt do. He continually agreed on many points with Walz but he didnt hurt trump and I give him points for being more calm when telling lies and deceiving you. Thats the republican party though lie, deflect, blame others, and smooth talking, etc. Vance broke away from his party and admitted they had challenges, I give him credit for that too. If you like a slickster lying to you with a straight face Vance is for you. WALZ-He was obviously nervous which we knew that going in. It took awhile for him to warm up. It was clear agriculture, a womans right, and family is important to him. I think he had been drilled on this debate a tad bit too much and thats where his focus was instead of letting his true personality shine through. We have come too accustomed to seeing drama in our politics and he was folksy, kind, and a little more friendly with Vance than I am sure people wanted to see him. He also agreed with things Vance said and failed to call out Vance on his many lies. He fumbled on explaining the lie he himself told but at least he did accept responsibility and coined himself as a "knucklehead". That wasn't a good look in my opinion, we are already combating a knucklehead who is trying to get in power. But I dont feel like he would harm me or the American people and I KNOW trump would. If you like a small town man that exaggerates sometimes and has a horrible poker face than Walz is for you. They both explained well their changes on positions and policies i think. They actually talked about policy more than the presidential candidates did at their debate. I think the deciding factor for me wasn't either one of them really. Its Vance inability to say trump lost and explain his and trump position on an abortion ban. Its the concept of a plan after 9 years and wanting to repeal ObamaCare that sealed it for me. I am a woman with a medically fragile child that believes in our democracy. So its not trump, harris, walz, or vance, its simply freedom and democracy for me. They are interchangeable but those two things and Project 2025 for me are not! So I will be voting blue to protect freedom for women across this nation no matter where you live, accepting the results of the people that voted, and protecting pre-existing conditions!
To me, Vance lost when he said about economists criticising Trump economic plans - which is not his plan by the way - they "have PHD but no common sense" and at the end when he refused to recognise that Trump lost the election. Tired of people pretending that Trump knows best when he knows jack shit.
