I've taught kinder for 5 years and this year after a hurricane and covid have moved schools and to PreK. Shouldn't be that different but let me tell you I feel like a newbie teacher all over again!!!

Our morning routine is similar but the kids can free play anywhere even at our centers, we then clean up, have alphabet Matt time, in which we use a smart board, we do the calendar, month, day of the week and year, we have a letter of the week and do the sound it makes, weather, shape, we then all line up wash hands, snack time, after snack we have craft time, we all do craft all 24 kids at the same time (very chaotic, especially if its a scissors one) gym time, storytime and show and tell, then they all have too grab a tabletop toy and sit at a table and wait until patents pick up... I really like the idea of separating the kids into smaller groups for craft like you do.... I would love too see a video on activities you do for gym... Also has a child ever dumped all your book bins out? Or ripped down your calendar, I know it's at eye level and easy for little hands too grab... Haha... Our classroom can get very hectic and busy some kids have so much energy they run around and don't want too actually play with anything, it's quite frustrating at times
