For those complaining about how they just let their kids do whatever they have fully admitted on Q and A videos that they are friends with their kids and not as much parenting. This is what works for them. Most people I do not think that works for. It would not work for me. I need structure in my life and I am glad I was raised that way.

Also everyone is in quarantine due to a pandemic, so honestly there’s not gonna be that much “structure”, I think people need to stop watching other family vlogs if they feel the need to criticize every action they do. I was raised in a very chill and relaxed “not structured” family and I love it, my mom reminds me so much of Kandi and this family obviously have great bonds and a lot of fun with each other. I would rather live in a household like theirs rather than an uptight picture perfect family. 🤷‍♀️

You guys should get a miniature bernadoodle. It is a cross between a Bernice mountain dog, and a miniature poodle. They are so funny, very smart, and so cute!! It would fit into your guys’ family so well. 😊

Hello Our Family Nest Family! My name is Melanie and I am a senior in high school. I know exactly how the kids feel, it's rough not being in school, and these times are difficult to make it through, but we're all in this together, and we will get through this!!! All we can do is social distance and do our best to take this day by day. Also, I am a huge fan of your channel, you are all so inspiring, and I've been a fan here since about 2011 and still to this day, I am a bigger fan of you guys! You are such an inspiration, and to know that you guys are doing well and hanging in there is awesome to hear! I do miss your daily videos, but I know you stopped doing them for a very important reason, and hey, the positive thing is, you guys are still posting when you want to! That's what matters the most, doing RU-vid when you feel like it, not feeling stressed and being pressured to post every single day. When you guys did post everyday I personally felt that it wasn't much different than the content now, but I did see your expressions when you posted everyday, and I felt so bad for you guys because I knew you were mentally drained and physically too. It's okay to have those times where you don't film every moment of your day. The important thing is that you guys are happy and doing what's best for your family! My grays are so bad! I had a bunch of plans for my hair since I am turning 30 in May. (yep I grayed early) I wanted a major cut, add some highlights, fix my roots...and the salons closed! Now lock down for us has been extended to may 31 so definitely won't be getting my hair done for my 30th! ugh! haha. I also have a feeling salons will be one of the last places to open! Hard to "social distance" when you are getting your hair done.

Maybe you should enforce some rules, and not allow them to not get up until 3-4pm. It’s not healthy or good to stay out of routine....if they continue that until summer and through going back to school will be horrible.

It’s an age thing, I’m quarantined at my parent house and I’m going to bed/waking up on time but my teenage brothers schedule is all messed up. Unless it bothers Candi that much it’s really not worth enforcing the rule

Rules? That's not something that exists in their home. Their kids call the shots while their mother gets walked all over. Do y’all not understand? They may stay in their room all day but you guys have no room to speak. There could be things you don’t know about and they could be growing. When you grow you sleep a lot it’s a fact. AND some people have a terrible time falling asleep like me. I have bad anxiety and also get really hyper at night so my brain is always active when I’m trying to fall asleep. Just don’t say anything and scroll if you don’t like how they live.😂💀💀

I understand teens need more sleep according to experts. However, you should start a sleep/wake guide during the quarantine. I believe experts claim teens need @ 10 hours of sleep as opposed the average person they claim needs 8 hours. I don’t think teens need to stay up no later than 1 on none school nights and wake by 10 giving them 11 hours of sleep. Not to mention up and out of bed and seen by you or Ken. Personally that what I would do.
