Bloody marvellous. I have substantial and expensive weaknesses. Mostly for younger women and older cars. Sir, please keep going what you are doing. I hope soon to purchase a Minor convertible and have a continental road trip planned.
My first car was a Moggie Traveller, complete with woodwork. I loved the tuning advice, those engines were unexiting and very forgiving. I paid £15 for it in about 1972. Never let me down, good memories. I also had a van and saloon versions. Good memories, love that exhaust note.
Another straight talking review, very nice driving roads apart for the pot holes a[[ areas have got them!! all the best Bob ( I drive a Triumph Stag which I have owned for 44 years) and a Lancia 2000HF coupe.
My dads favourite car was his Morris Traveller, he had it years and with regular maintenance never once let him down, I would love one now, rather than all the modern crap
tq for making this great video! . but i wish this car have an aircond , radio and can comvert into automatic gearbox . its much helped than kept restless to pull the clutches everyday...
Interesting that you did the ignition timing by ear. I have done the same on a few occasions on different vehicles, the last was when I replaced the distributor and added electronic ignition on the Moggy.. Simply marked the position of the old Dizzie before removal and then put the new one in roughly the same position. It was good enough for the car to start first go, and then I just adjusted by ear, went on a test drive and all was good. Oh and I do keep the old Dizzy, cap and leads in the boot as a spare - just in case.
Timing chain snapping does no damage. I used to run Marina's until they broke down, walked to get the stuff to fix, then off again. My motoring wish, is a stainless steel Morris Marina! I would have stacked all the second spares up, and would NEVER had to buy another car. Found your videos, just in time to block out Jimmy Saville's buddy getting crowned...thanks. Peace brother. Question; What do you call a clown getting a crown? Answer; A circus.
Hi, Thanks for the feedback, all the filming on this channel so far has been a bog standard I phone 13 set to 4K, Audio is via a rode wireless go 2 plugged straight into the phone. keeps it neat and simple!
Good little car but like most British cars of that time many drivers were week end mechanics. Probably the poor quality products caused loss of British car industry.
