@@emxryyhe technically doesn’t like the label gay, but he did say in an interview that he never felt attracted towards girls and he never understood why they were attracted to him.
He cultivated the questions about his sexuality. He wanted to be an Icon and he understood the psychology behind what it would take in the 80s for that to happen. He is an even more brilliant "propagandist" than he is a lyricist. It's incredible that he understood such complex issues at such a young age. There were no accidents in his career.
If you read his autobiography, he's bisexual. He's been in relationships with men and women. He seems to have loved more women though, judging by the book. He is right, he IS beyond the term gay or straight, he's a nice mix of both. :) I get it because I'm the same exact way.
I’ve never understood the obsession with his sexuality. It’s sad how he’s constantly asked about his sexuality and his relationship with sex. I get there are references, both implicit and very explicit to sex but I can’t think of many artists who have ever been scrutinised in such a way as if it’s of any significance. He’s had relationships with men and women. Simple. What more needs to be said?
@@pippipster6767if you read the transcripts of his interviews at any point from the beginning of his career up until a few years ago you’ll find it’s been asked nearly a dozen times
He absolutely didn't say that. He said he's humasexual which is a very Morrissey thing, just teasing the media. I'm no t saying he's this or that, but he's never been clear about it.
@israelmolina9361 I know he's said that recently in his very Morrissey-esque fashion (which is rather cool), but, well, I hate to burst your bubble, but in pre-Smiths letters, he really did write about being bisexual. It is odd for him to be so definitive on sexuality, of all things, but unless he was playing 'head games', I really can't see why he'd lie about something so important
You are not a gay Mozzter, Pops. You are just saving yourself for the Girl Least likely. I Luff j'Yah eVen MORR Mine Own Celestially Earthern & Intergalaticly Superb Insatiable One...
when George Michael was 'playing hetero' he is still acting on public like LGBTQ+ friendly person. but Morrissey... I think he never did nothing like that. he was too 'beyond everything' queen. not a such pretty picture.
do you happen to have the interview where he says a conspiracy is in the air because the BBC wont play them. i heard about this and i am intrigued to give it a listen ☺
He seems more like a asexual/aromantic guy. Unlike other musicians he is unmarried and even sing songs like "Will never Marry" or "End of The Family Line".
Are you this obtuse on purpose? He is a rockstar and a sex symbol. He is the counterpart to literally millions of parasocial relationships. In human nature there is nothing more important than sexual behavior. It is the underlying motivator for most complex interactions. Few things are more interesting to the common person than who, what, when, where, and how, someone else is f**cking.
Because it can inform others about someone's world view, and social experience. It's crucial. The same people who wonder why sexuality is an issue in these cases, are often the same people who agressively argue for sexual preference as a form of politcal expression. All things considered, why wouldn't it matter? Sex in the Western world is a deeply politcal topic. It's even become a supernatural topic: Almost cult like in its expression.
Then why ask ANYONE a question about themselves then??? What was the inspiration for this song Morrissey ? None of your business. Why should you know my personal inspirations?? Its SILLY . Of COURSE people are gonna ask about your sexuality. It is a MONUMENTALLY big thing within humanity life and always has been
@@DeeTeaDee because u wanna sell to me ur music. so I wanna know what kind of person u r in ANY aspect including ur sexuality. hetero people share everywhere they are hetero. and this is not big deal. and only about gays some people hypocriticaly saying - Why u wanna know none of ur business blah blah blah
*Didn't he once say that he was 'Huma-sexual'. It's silliness anyways. He's claimed to be Bisexual in letters, so what is the need to 'pin his sexuality'. Of course, it is the most dominant and leading aspect of a person, but it is completely personal. You'd think we were in some Totalitarian State where it was NECESSITY to reveal your orientation. It's also dumb. It's not a crime anymore, so live and let live. Morrissey also highlights that the journalist was a promoter of understanding for homosexuals, so his thinking he was 'wish fulfilling' his hopes of Morrissey being like him sounds quite very plausible* *PS: Morrissey has been labelled 'miserabilist', so how to combine the mismatch of being miserable and gay ...*
