Morrissey fans across the world will play this at full blast in their cars while unashamedly singing along, (I do) Mozzer just keeps getting better all the time.Brilliant !
Sumptuous and Spaghetti Western dramatic, I love those growly arch dark guitars in the break, and the almost Scott Walker yearning exuding through the song. Typically waspish, "wrap your legs around my face just to greet me" world weary lyrics and let's face it, it's very true, I've never found home anywhere or with anyone, except perhaps with some songs like this one. It's for me the only brilliant song on the album. Up with "I have Forgiven Jesus" really. As a Northerner exiled in the far South, I yearn myself for deeply emotional, suave and humoured people, deprived and starved so can get some kind of love from this record.
Home, is it just a word? Or is it something you carry within you? I'm happy just to be here If I ever find home If I ever find home If I ever find home If I ever find home If I get there, would you meet me? Wrap your legs around my face Just to greet me If I ever get there, would you meet me? Wrap your legs around my face Just to greet me If I ever get there Do you really think I will? Do you really think I will? Do you really think I will? How many times I've saved myself
I have asked the question to myself repeatedly and throughout my life's adventure I found only one home; One home in every human heart who thinks of me and loves me without a doubt ... Thank you my New Wave brother for this masterpiece!
This song brings me back to the good times of SMITHS Fantastic! The voice, the melody, ... has something magical! I've been listening to it for a long time and I do not want to stop listening
My Love🎤💙... This is the kind of music we want to hear...♬ "I have seen many shores I hug the land but nothing more Because I haven't met you I've wined and I've dined With every bogus music mogul No sign of you I've brushed and I've rubbed Pressing palms; exuding charms But never in arms..."♬
I've seen many shores I hug the land, but nothing more Because I haven't met you I have wined and I've dined With every bogus music mogul No sign of you I've brushed and I've rubbed Pressing palms and executing charms But never in arms And that's why Home is a question mark Home is some place I dunno Home is a question mark Home is some place I dunno I have been brave Deep in every shaven cave And were you Another film on replay This time "Hell" with Guillaume Canet For English me, and that's why Home is a question mark Home is some place I dunno Home is a question mark Home is some place I dunno Home, is it just a word Or is it something you, carry within you I'm happy just to be here If I ever find home If I ever find home If I…

Leah Box At 47 you are hardly decaying...87 maybe! I'm 43 and although terribly ill (not from age but living circumstances) I don't feel or look old, and when you see 90 year olds ballet dancing and climbing mountains then 40s is nothing.
