Looking back at this "Iconic" Tour and all the cancellations, we would have been better off on the odds of winning the Lotto than actually getting to see him! I booked Bangkok, he cancelled, almost booked Perth, but tickets were gone. Booked Sydney and got to see him on Monday 11th, then he cancelled Auckland too. Great video, thank you so much for uploading it, a piece of history! Hope you bought the Aussie Tour T - Shirt, it must be rarer than rocking horse shit! Gig of a lifetime!
This is a really clear picture and sound!!! Thanks for uploading! Isn't he such a great entertainer !! You can tell he just wants to please the audience!!!
This is pretty much the view we had, but we were closer and saw every grimace, rolled eyes and other gurns from Mr. Moz. What a singer, up there with the Bennetts, Sinatras and Williams (have you heard his Moon River), it will be interesting to hear him 10 to 15 years from now as his voice matures even more.
Yes, I've heard it. He covers songs exceptionally well, and I even wish he'd record more cover songs. Yeah, his voice has matured beautifully, still flawless and incredibly captivating.
Gracias por compartir sería muy interesante para las personas que no hablan inglés que alguien lo editase con traducción al español gracias gracias gracias 🧙🙏👍💯💢💥✨🌟
He will always have a special place in my heart, he is a poet and for that reason I will give him some room for manoveure about some of his comments that don't chime with today's points of view. However, there is one thing I am really stuggling with and that is the width of his trousers.
Most people are too blind to think critically and just follow the crowd. If they actually listened to what he's saying he only preaches love and tolerance..unfortunately some don't and he calls it out which doesn't as you say, chime with today's points of view. Sheep.
I have transferred this to wave file on my recorder (thanks so much). It's not every gig you literally get to keep the footage of the show you were actually at; it's an outright anomaly, really. Just one little thing I wanted to mention - it seems to me that if you had have recorded this in landscape it would be even better again. I watched it on a big TV, and it was decent quality, and I was just thinking "if only they turned the phone ninety degrees it'd be perfect". But thanks heaps!
Glad you like it! Absolutely, Morrissey is my favorite musician, which is why he's worth me recording the entire show (of course, only when I'm farther back; if I’m up front, I prefer to enjoy the moment instead of constantly recording). Holding my phone vertically allows me to stabilize it with one hand without blocking my view. Besides, sadly, from my position, I can't see the left side of the stage and backdrop anyway.
How long have we been filming stuff with our phones? It just amazes me that people still record in portrait mode, when there's simply no reason for doing so.
Weak comment. It's a dude singing, not some sport event. It does the job. You can hear the music. Your comment is simply a lack of appreciation and maybe you should just STFU.
ma poi per " vecchio " si intende " vecchio " come esperienza, come importanza storica... non in senso fisico o offensivo 😊 ... Scusate se scrivo in italiano, ma spero riusciate a capirmi attraverso il traduttore come ho fatto io. 😊
Funny, as I was watching this video I was thinking the exact opposite, that after all these years he still puts so emotion into these songs. I see where you're coming from with regard to his stage presence -- though to be fair, he's now in his mid 60s -- but even though he could have sang more lazily, he didn't.
I just don't see it. He can't move as well as he use to, so he isn't like, dancing around much. Remember, he's getting older. Older bodies betray us and make us tired. I can just tell he loves what he does, at least it seems like it. ❤️
Thanks fren I was there so this makes it the best thing I have ever seen on this platform again thank you so much Morrissey ! The greatest by far absolute legend
Hope you enjoy the show too! This tour is my first time seeing him live, and I'm truly grateful he's willing to come to Australia, especially after hearing him talk about how afraid he is of flying.
