You could have told me at the right time You could have introduced me proudly Never need to have to kiss me Never need to ever touch me, but You should have been nice to me You should have been nice to me It would have been so easy And all the moments when I was down You could have been there You could have been there You could have once just spoke in favor You'd never need to ever touch me, but You should have been nice to me You should have been nice to me It wouldn't cost you money And on the moments when I fell down Not for you to say: "Oh I told you so" You could have waited You could have waited You could have waited

with only ten tracks on it,i have to say this is a very good compilation, and it features the brilliant 'Striptease with a difference' Morrissey at his very best!
Are you kidding me. How is it I've never heard all this. Apparently, I'm not the greatest Morrissey fan ever. Regardless, I've seen the light I repent. Mozza culpa
Striptease with a difference must have the strongest instrumental out of all morrissey songs. He should be made a music video for it while he was (not to sound gay) sexy. I think it would be been a big hit.
first time ive heard this...never new it existed...weaker lyrics for a morrissey set of tunes...nontheless different as you would expect from moz.......
Leave it to Morrissey .. to make a Song track featuring a Simple Card Game and turn it into an extraordinary extravaganza of Stip Poker. Dam Genius. What an opening title.. coming directly from listening to Morrissey. Viva 'Hate Hate' Out~Takes 1987 vid. .Viva Morrissey ❤
When I was first into Morrissey and The Smiths, back in 1989, (i was 14) LOL we had to find these as bootlegs... sometimes sending cassette tapes through the mail trading what I had with other fans all over the world. It's so EASY being a fan nowadays.. everything is online hahaha!
I got into the smiths when my brother bought Strange ways Here We Come, in '89 as well. I was 11, I soon after got the Best of the Smiths and listened to it a hundred thousand times. Cheers.
It is so much easier but there is such a charm to having to find the physical media, taking a chance on a unknown artist and being blown away. Its like treasure hunting and finding gold.
As the late night card game goes, I have not Lost yet, because He is always bending the rules for Me...I Love You Stephen Patrick Francis Morrissey, My Kingers All'ah Mighty MORR 😊😊😊🙏💚👑🤗🤪🥰👑💗!!!
I remember working hard to find these bootlegs and feeling somewhat special at the time for being a few of many fans who possessed such rarities. Thanks RU-vid for bringing this to light.
Such a Great Collection! Glad to have the Remastered Versions of most of these songs in the Re-releases but this was such a special find at the time. If only 'My Early Burglary Years' had contained some of these songs rather than the pointless filler it did. I think 'Lifeguard' is very weak lyrically ("Ails and the the ills...and from other things"), and the "I'm so young...so really really young..." part of 'Please Help the Cause" is very weak, but the rest is just so warm and welcomed. The magic Era of Morrissey.
I've been a fan of the smiths & Morrissey since 1983, bit late to the game, but I caught the final score. But I digest, never heard this album before. I'd heard and lived track 2. Striptease was a belated birthday gift. Thx 4 posting. You are changing the world Although it won't listen.
