@@meikito7031 There are a very large number of solutions and things to take into account when installing a hud mod, with this type of mods it is advisable to always do a clean installation, hud mods are not usually compatible with each other so you can only install a hud, when installing a hud you have to verify what version of the mod is going to be installed and what version of openmw one has installed to ensure that there will be good compatibility, there are certain versions of openmw that do not accept custom huds or you have many errors when using custom hud, you should always check that the hud mod is installed in the correct path for it to work properly
@@JayTV98 Because there are people who comment very rude things, they are generally people whose cell phone does not support the video game or they are people from the PC community who come in to belittle you by telling you to buy a PC or a console and more
@@davidaylife There is a lot of content for openmw android, lately new mods, updates and compatible scripts have come out, it's a shame that people bother in the comments. The worst thing I've seen is that some of them are mod developers and they don't get bothered by any of their mods that are in the video, but just come in to bother like any hater who comments on a video
With the latest versions of openmw 0.49 the mod works very well, always remember to do a clean installation and that no other mod has conflicts for the mod to work well, to change the location of the minimap you would have to edit it yourself from a program for mod developers
The installation is very simple, just copy the folder with the name resources of the mod in the omw_nightly folder that is in your internal memory of your cell phone, only with that you will have the open hud active
@@nmich2347 OpenHUD mod comes with two files "data" and "resources". Data contains Textures file and resources contains mygui file. I am not sure where I copy them exactly. I copied mygui to /resources/vfs. Only I can see pink color no textures.
@@davidaylife The outdated installation of the mod was that the data folder had to be left right next to the morrowind data files folder for the app to detect the mod and then check the texture mod folder in the openmw app in the Mods section /DIRECTORIES, you can rename the data folder as open hud to make sure you check the mod folder later, and you have to copy the mygui folder to the /storage/emulated/0/omw_nightly/resources/vfs directory, now with the mod update you just have to copy the resources folder to the path /storage/emulated/ 0 /omw_nightly , if you have the previous update you can do the first install
On the openmw discord servers where they talk about openmw android you can request the apk, I have seen that in addition to the github apk expiring they have also thrown away the links from other servers where the apk was
You can download the sky hud mod from a link that is in the description, the icons are already included in openmw version sisah2, if you don't see the modified icons look for them in nexusmods the name of the icons is OpenMicrowave Icons
Hey Can you please help me with modding ? since i'm kinda new How do i add mods that don't add any new stuff but switch animations or like the video change the u.i (I'm having problems with weapon sheathing and mcar at the moment) And i have no idea where to begin and i thought just going willy nilly replacing files was a bad idea Edit: thank you in advance
For the full character animations I use the Animation Compilation mod, for the UI I use the SkyHUD mod, the weapon holster mod is incompatible with many mods of all kinds, sometimes there are patches that fix the bugs, but other times not and you have to look for compatible mods, the Animation Compilation mod already adds what the mcar mod adds, if you want the animations of graphic effects there are several mods available that you can look for in nexusmods that you may like two of them that I use are Spells Reforged and Magic VFX Retexture by Articus, there is a great animation pack that brings many new animations and movements its name is Solthas Combat Pack you can try it
@@nmich2347 thx for the recommendations though that isnt what i ment I wanted to know more of where i need to put the files for the mods to be recognized
@@justmihai6944 You asked me about mods that don't add anything new but change the animations, the mods are installed depending on the openmw you are using, this is the dirty install that adds all the mods to the morrowind datafiles folder and the clean install that adds each mod in separate folders you have to put in one side of the morrowind data files folder and then in the app you have to mark the folder of each mod and its esp files esm omwscripts all this is done in the mods section in the app openmw
