This is the exact way I started learning morse code. I heard my brother talking about this and he taught me a few letters. I got interested so I kept learning. A year later I still remember everything, it’s mostly a useless skill to have but it’s fun either way.
Thanks. I think this will work for me. Aircraft radio navigation signals called VOR's are identified with morse code. Fun to play with in a flight simulator.

It was a smart decision to allocate it a single dot Morse code was crafted like this based on the frequency of letters usage in the English language, to maximize effecincy E is the most used letter so it gets the shortest code possible, since it's used alot
