Morse Code Training - Koch format 

Wow! Just ran across this and will sure use it to help aid my studies. Great to listen to by the repeating. I have been trying to learn no slower than 20-25 wpm because I heard it’s best to learn at a faster speed- so this is stepping it up a notch in trying to understand and receive. Thanks for the great video!

There is no question the copy of this Morse is excellent! how are you copying the content to your phone. As a manual copy would be a very long process and prone to errors. However that being said having it on my iPhone would enable a host of other possibilities including sleep learning. Hiding the Morse under the sound of seagulls flying over head would allow sleep learning for instance. I had one friend who had a war time job of copying the enemy code. He became so proficient that he said he was able to copy the code, type in the code on a typewriter while reading a book. That is the epitome of morse copy as the code passed through the subconscious brain onto the typewriter while the Brin was reading a book with the conscious brain. I would really like to learn Morse copy at that level. sit has been a conscious struggle for me since I was a teenager and I am now 82.

Listen to this (3) times per day, preferably at (30 wpm) 1.25x speed (in settings), read over the commonly used abbreviations here - www.qsl.net/w5www/abbr.html, or here - www.amateurradio.com/cw-abbreviations/, a couple of times daily, join Learn CW Online (LCWO.net), it's free, and download an app on your phone so you can import text files to be played in Morse Code, and in no time you'll be so fast that someone will have to stand near you with a fire extinguisher when you send code, just in case your key burst into flames from the friction. Also, most aren't used often, but here's the punctuation and special characters - morse-code.org/special-chars.php. As important as all - *LISTEN TO ACTUAL QSOs!*
