Yknow the Puss in Boots Netflix show has actual sky-gods, one of them wants to destroy the world because humans stopped worshipping them, but when Puss tells him that HE (an intelligent animal) believes in them they don't destroy the world. In the show there is also an evil wolf, and he similar to Death is a representation of something, in this case the Bloodwolf is all the fear in the universe. Wonder if that ties into the Mort theory.

Death says in PB2 - "You know we will meet again someday, right?" Puss crosses over into Madagascar

The weapon death uses is not a scythe like normal but a sickle which is a moon shaped weapon. Also death is the only thing that scares puss but he’s a wolf where as before him death was a MOUSE lemur. Also death is connected to puss which was the only shrek character in all hail king Julian, maybe after he was in contact with new death he went to the original death, or death was offended that puss would even go near the original death. One last thing… what is if mort is hades and death is Hermes. Hades does not like the way he is treated by the SKY GOD ON OLYMPUS

The Theorizer: A being whose ramblings can take far darker turns, even more so than Mat and his crew. Even mentally breaking himself multiple times but he still moves on.

Here’s a boatload of evidence for you: I watched through the Adventures of Puss in Boots TV show a few months ago for a video I was making and when looking back, I realised so many things which tie into this theory. Here’s the most notable points… First, quick rundown of the basics of the show so you’re aware. TL:DR, Puss arrives in a mystical town called San Lorenzo which was previously protected by a great mage known as Sino. However, Puss accidentally breaks the protective seal because he removed one coin from the San Lorenzo treasure room. The show then revolves around Puss protecting the town from bandits and other entities. There’s no real evidence here, I just felt like the context was important. Anyway, time for my main points… In Part 21, someone else mentioned that there are SKY GODS in this show. This is 100% true but what they didn’t mention is that the Gods frequently play MUSIC. Also, they can give God powers to someone else as shown in S6x10 where they gave God powers to Puss One of the major villains of the show is The Bloodwolf who looks STRIKINGLY like the Death wolf. Maybe there’s a connection there? There’s a character in the early episodes called Jack Spratt who is FRENCH. The main thing to keep in mind with him is that he is extremely athletic and is able to climb things with ease and do one handed push ups. He seems more fit than most real people yet he is extremely thin. Possible FEET powers perhaps!? Just like how there are multiple iterations of Mort, there are also multiple iterations of Puss. Not only was Puss able to make a clone of himself in S3x7 but in S5x5 we see various Puss’ from across the multiverse coming together. The most notable alternate version is Evil Puss who appears again in the Season 5 finale. Speaking of which… Season 5 of the show is revolves around an alternate dimension to the netherworld (check S5x1 for a full explanation of what it is because I can’t remember off the top of my head). Evil Puss falls into the portal after being initially defeated which blinds him and turns him into the ‘blind king’ of the netherworld. However, he also gains the ability to see everything within the netherworld through eyes which aren’t his own. Not to mention, the other characters gained abilities when they went into the portal themselves which included flight, telekinesis, intelligence and super strength. So, the netherworld can provide powers to those who enter which may mean that FEET use the netherworld to force evolve their members Interestingly though, Puss is once again an anomaly. Whilst all of his friends get powers when going into the netherworld portal, Puss doesn’t and it’s NEVER explained why he doesn’t. I haven’t figured out why but it’s worth noting either way There’s a lot of time travel shenanigans in the show surprisingly. By the end of Season 6 it is revealed that the real world and the netherworld are colliding which will end up destroying the real world (but not the netherworld strangely). As a result, Sino is summoned again but is unable to stop the destruction. SO THE WORLD IS LITERALLY DESTROYED. It’s only fixed after Sino sends Puss back in time to the very first episode to stop him from entering San Lorenzo and breaking the seal. Puss has his memories but to all intense and purposes, the show never really happened (although he got to stay with his GF from the show until Kitty replaced her). So basically, a wizard was able to reset a timeline. Could this mean that stories like Kung Fu Panda are actually in a reset timeline instead of the far future which was created after animals rose up and learnt magic? Maybe but I’m mostly just spitballing ideas and seeing what sticks This is a smaller point but S1x13 also shows a wishing star which is actually a character with personality who can interact with one of the characters. It’s nothing mind blowing but wishing stars are prevalent in Dreamworks (especially the Shrek-verse) so it’s worth acknowledging That’s everything I could think of off the top of my head. Food for thought: After Universal bought Dreamworks, there's been some blurring between Dreamworks and Illumination. A lot of the same people have been involved in both. Chris Meledandri, the founder of Illumination has been involved with Dreamworks ever since the merger. He was heavily involved with Puss in Boots 2 and is working to relaunch the Shrek franchise. Then there's the case of adaptations. When Universal got the rights to do a Mario movie it became almost arbitrary whether they chose to give it to Illumination or Dreamworks. Chris Meledandri, who again is now heavily involved in both Illumination and Dreamworks, was the person who secured the Mario rights so he really could have chosen to bring them to either Illumination or Dreamworks without much difference. So perhaps it should be considered an honorary Dreamworks film. It does have several cosmic elements like super stars and magic food which I feel could easily fit with and even explain some of the rest of the Mort lore. In addition, Universal's logo is the earth which is a contrast to Dreamworks' logo of the moon. Universal also arguably has older ties to Dreamworks as Steven Spielberg has made several films for Universal throughout the decades and he co-founded Dreamworks. The real kickers though: last year Illumination started a new label called MOONLIGHT which has yet to make any films. And the very first Illumination film, Despicable Me, is about Gru attempting to STEAL THE MOON. Which could fit both in universe and out of universe, as it is also almost similar to how Universal themselves in a sense stole the moon of Dreamworks by purchasing them.

That was a completely insane Eldritch abomination of a theory and I can't wait for more

Expanding on the whole Mort was part of F.E.E.T thing: If he wasn’t, then Death wouldn’t have been able to bypass the Wishing Star’s barrier, most likely conjured up by the Sky Gods. Their power levels must be identical, which can only really mean what you said it meant.

I said it in chat, but need to put it here. In the Guardians of Childhood books, Sandman was the pilot of a shooting star, granting wishes to children. i.e. ...a wishing star

I think Boss Baby is definitely worth dissecting. We have a agency of hyper intelligent, long living human babies in some kind of of secret place in the sky that can only be accessed with special blessed artifiacts. Babies are untouched by the outside influence, uncorrupted, obedient. Perfect footmen. On top of that Tims parents sing to him constantly. And work for a pro-animal agency Puppy Corp. Run by a ex member of that hyper intelligent human agency, Francis Francis- perhaps he was a disenfranchised member of the FEET who saw the truth and switched sides? Remember his older brother is borderline de-evolved, he can't even speak, only grunts. Perhaps after Eugene was abandoned or even devolved by the skygods, Francis switched sides. Siding with Mort and the Beasts. And then further, as soon as the Boss Baby has outlived his purpose and revealed FEET secrets, he is stripped of his longevity and hyper intelligence and turned into a normal baby.

An observation on Lobo/Death the wolf: he fits more into earlier theories than this one, as if he is a fragment of Mort then his motive makes sense. He is trying, the whole movie, not to kill Puss, or else he would have done it from the first moment. Instead, he is, at all times, trying to force Puss to value his own life without running away from any risks that come his way. He is trying to force the talking animal to grow, to evolve or die. I recall you mentioned in an earlier theory the idea that humans are degenerating while talking animals grow smarter and attributed it to Mort. In that framework Death just *is* a more lupine incarnation of Mort taking a direct approach to causing Puss to grow, if not literally Mort just having learned a shape-shifting trick from one of his other selves and taking on that form when he traveled to Puss's world, since honestly, it's Mort, that isn't exactly a far stretch.

I dunno if you've noticed this but when the footmen succeed in turning shrek human, their ultimate goal, what form does he take? Thats right. The footmen ideal. Square jaw, dark hair, a gigachad if you will.

Mort being Kronos makes PERFECT sense, if the sky gods represent Kronos’ children then the idea of Mort eating the lesser gods is exactly in line with the story where Kronos EATS his children. Along with that, Kronos and Mort are both defeated by the lesser gods by being chopped up into millions of pieces, it would make sense for all of Mort’s pieces to become their own bodies because Mort is part starfish, and like you said in the Patrick theory, detached Mort pieces should regenerate the entire body. And if Mort is Kronos, Pineapple is Zeus, think about it, they both show up in clouds and shoot down beams of lighting, and they both are the newly founded king of the gods. Everything. fits. perfectly

If The Theorizer was MatPat DreamWorks is his .F.N.A.F.

In the netflix show "Dawn of the Croods" in one episode, specifically called "Tunnel of Terror" in season 1, they go through a cave which has scary story paintings written on them. However, there's a joke at the end of the episode where there's a picture of Shrek and Donkey on the wall, and they absolutely lose their marbles. It's fair to say that this implies that Shrek was a thing that existed IN THE PAST (increasingly proving the timeline is backwards theory), but also that humans are genuinely afraid of talking animals/beasts.

Animal intelligence in the verse seems to be an almost modern thing. Movies like El Dorado is when it seems to start. The horse is smart, but not too smart. Starting in the dark ages the animals started getting smarter, until they took over, starting yet another dark age… also guess what is in the El Dorado movie? SKY GODS!!

I wonder if Maurice is an important part of the theory? Because he’s an aye-aye, and in Madagascan folklore, aye-ayes are seen as omens of DEATH.

In terms of timeline The Adventures of Puss in Boots has a specific date. There is a Treasure known as "The Coin From the Future" marked 1829 which is "hundreds of years in the future" according to puss (S2E10)

If I remember correctly, one of the things you mentioned in part 23 that the FEET have a *thing* for is snails, and the thing is snails are already popular as French cuisine in real life. So maybe in this timeline, the FEET caused the French love of snails as cuisine. Just a thought.

I enjoyed watching your older videos and hearing the growing horror in your voice as you uncovered more and more lore and evidence. I would imagine this is what madness looks like- the inescapable call of otherworldly knowledge, of things and beings unsurmountable. You sir have found something eldritch here I both mourn and salute you.

I think Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts might be a good connection point to how we got to the Kung Fu Panda era with no humans, in that show the surface has been taken over by sentient mutant anthropomorphic animals called Mutes and all of the humans are living underground in places called burrows. One of the villains of the show, a Mandrill Mute named Hugo, was created by a group of scientists living in one of the burrows who were trying to find a way to turn the mutes back into normal animals, could they possibly be the post apocalyptic remnants of FEET? I say this because after Hugo escapes he changes his name to Scarlemagne, a reference to Charlemagne, who was FRENCH and he named him self that after being taught French history by two of his creators Song and Lio Oak, who later defected from the group of scientists and are the protagonist Kipo's parents.

My personal idea for Death and Mort is that Mort was ousted from power and that Death is the new God of, well, death. This not only explains why Death isn't a lemur, but also why he hates how cats have 9 lives. Because his predecessor has more "lives" than anyone else. Not only that, but seeing Puss's other lives in the crystals makes me think that Puss may have been a demigod, punished by being sent to Earth and having 9 facets of his personality split, each one being unveiled every time he dies. As his second life was taken, the Sky God's wondered what would happen and grew uneasy, so they appointed Death with ensuring Puss does not return to the pantheon.

Added theory about How to Train Your Dragon, it takes place inside a hollow earth and depicts either humans and intelligent beasts coexisting for the first time or the last time. Personally, I think the humans shelter inside the hollow earth in some sort of post apocalyptic fallout vault survival scenario, which is why the Vikings use medieval technology but still speak with modern anachronism. To add onto that theory, is it any wonder that the main character, Hiccup, the man who serves as the bridge between humans and beasts, loses HIS FOOT?!?!?!?!? Oh, and did I not mention that one of the most powerful specimens of the dragons race, one that shares a species with Toothless, the beast bridge between man and monster, IS NAMED MOON!?!?!

I’m starting to believe that dream works is only making films just to keep this mort story line alive

Hear me out, but I know why Mort claims to be only 50 when he's billions of years old. It's because he had two lives. The first was as a multiversal-traveling warlord trying to gather all his personas to grow more and more powerful, hiding from the watchful eye of the Sky Gods. The second was where he was born into a regular family in Madagascar to hide from the Sky Gods, and that life only spanned 50 years or so by the time Julien came into the mixer. Also, it's noteworthy that Mort kind follows a similar first life to Satan, where he's kicked out of the heavens and banished to Earth. Then, when he starts his new life, he is raised in a regular family with unnamed siblings, raising questions about him actually being a spin on Jesus. Do Biblical aspects come into play? I'm not sure, but my channel has been running since Part 23, and I've made countless theories on Madagascar, so please check it out.

I haven't seen anyone talk about Dave from The Penguins of Madagascar (Movie), who I believe is affiliated with the Sky Gods. He is an incredibly intelligent octopus who is the arch nemesis of the Penguins (critical members of Mort's forces). He created the Medusa-Serum which can forcibly alter the target's DNA to become a monster (a.k.a. forced evolution). Once he gets revenge on the Penguins, he decides he wants to go after other animals. He appears to care not for any other animals besides his octopus army, instead desiring human affection. He has been to France before since he has a Paris snow globe in his collection, and Kowalski states that Dave has a snow globe for every zoo he was kicked out of. He has interacted with human society through this disguise as Dr. Octavius Brine (Dr. Octavius Brine has red hair by the way), so it may not be too much of a stretch to say that he could be a member of F.E.E.T. He may have served a similar role to that of Syndrome in BnL (an inventor). I believe that after his attention was stolen by the Penguins (this could have been staged by the Sky Gods) and he developed a hatred for them, he switched sides and went to work with F.E.E.T. and the Sky Gods so he could get revenge on the Penguins. This lines up with what was said in part 23, that being how both sides are recruiting forces from the other side. Also, after being defeated by Private, he is trapped in a snow globe and is taken away by a human girl, as if the Sky Gods have punished him for failing.

Ok, so first we need to establish that Kronos is not Chronos. They are two different entities in Greek Mythology. Kronos is the Titan King, father of Zeus, Poseidon and Hades; Kronos wields a scythe (link to Death) that was given to him by his mother, Gaia, the Earth, with which he killed his father, Ouranos, the Sky (Sky Gods?). Chronos is the god of time and many nowadays make Kronos and Chronos into the same character, but if the Hell Loops Shrek experiences are truly time loops, then Chronos is theoretically on the Sky Gods side. We can argue that the link I just made between Ouranos and the Sky Gods is itself a loop of patricide, for greek mythology bases itself on the idea that the son will dethrone the father, so perhaps Mort and the Sky Gods keep giving birth to one another once vanquished, in some weird way. Perhaps we can add onto this the idea of Saṃsāra from Hindu Mythology, which is basically the wheel of reincarnation and infinite death and rebirth of the world itself. There may be a link to Mort being a real lemur and having created the Dreamworks worlds. I also want to adress the "Mort is the whole circus" part, aka he is The Apocalypse personified and all the horsemen. Pestilence is not a real Horseman, he was created by the Church to take the place of Conquest because it was unclear to the people what Conquest had to do with the Apocalypse. Conquest is the act of rallying all under one banner, in this case it could very well be how Mort trying to rally all the animals to his cause and also Morticus Khan rallying the parts of the Morts.

I decided to watch All Hail King Julian after watching this series because I thought "how weird could it be?" Now, I literally can't think about the show without tearing up so I fully understand refusing to watch it again. It'll be ok Theorizer.

OK SO! During the wait for the premiere i made a joke about the name mortimer. (the elongated version of mort.) it was a quick message and I detailed how mort means death, which we already know, and timer is a reference to time father time so I made the joke that mort is the God of death in time and controls the universe and I cannot believe that that actually came up on the video.

The Last Voyage Of The Demeter, the new Dracula movie, is a DreamWorks film. Dracula (and his victims) can only (safely) operate when the moon is out. The way Dracula's will overtakes his victims, changing their mental states and eyes seems evocative of how you've described Todd, dear Theorizer. It may be unimportant, but it may be interesting

Another thing about Jack Horner is his connection to Pinocchio, A non human creature masquerading as a real boy. His enemies mock him through time and space. In his childhood he saw what the sky gods were doing and his perceived inferiority under them infuriated him.

Should note that in one of the Trolls cartoons, they have a gag about Branch's craziness where at one point he makes the claim: "The man in the moon _is just a little boy fishing!_ " and everyone else laughs at him. This implies only one of two things: a. The trolls think Branch doesn't take the sky gods seriously. b. The trolls are the ones who don't take the sky gods seriously.

They deliberately hide their voices from her, and she tries to make Puss "another cat" to conform and go back to his animalistic behaviour. It is also weird how she yells at papa bear "MY CATS PLAY BETTER THAN YOU" when she is inside the piano, possible F.E.E.T. connection? Why would she teach her cats to play the piano?

Death the Wolf's entire motive is the fact that Puss didn't appreciate his first 8 lives and backs off once he realized Puss had indeed learned to value his last one. I'm not sure if that's a motive or the Sky Gods or a motive of Mort's or the feet. But either way it says something about whoever he answers to.

I’ve wondered if Big Jack Horner is in some way related to Fairy Godmother. I don’t think he’s her son but he was set to inherit a pie factory which looks super similar to her own factory plus he had also inherited magic items when he…well…got big. Perhaps he inherited it after Charming’s death because he was third in line in Fairy Godmother’s will?

There's a lot of iconography in Revelation, aside from the Four Horsemen. You should definitely read it over if possible, but here's some parts that I can remember: - The Prophet is given a scroll by an immense being, with his head in the clouds, one foot on land, and another in the sea. - Seven Seals upon the Scroll of Life are broken, four of them releasing the Four Horsemen. - Many cosmically horrific events happen, like a third of the Sun, Moon, and Stars going dark, a plague of locusts (described as winged horses with human faces and scorpion tails) arising from the Abyss, and a star falling from the heavens called Wormwood. - Three beings in particular face God and his forces: The Dragon (seven heads and ten horns), the Wild Beast (also seven heads and ten horns), and the False Prophet (horns of a lamb, but the voice of a dragon). I don't know how you can decipher the Dreamworks universe with this knowledge, but I'm sure you'll crack the code.

Perhaps tieing in some other mythologies could be a good idea. Norse myth with ragnarok could work well with this, maybe mort could be tied to Loki in this case, killing baldur and setting in motion the end of the gods. His children, hel, Fenris and jormungandr being instrumental in the apocalypse once it comes. I’m sure there is a discussion to be had about this

Someone said the tune Death whistles in the Last Wish sounded a lot like There was an Old Man named Michael Finnegan. though the director of the movie said it was an original piece and never stated the old nursery rhyme as inspiration it's still something to think about. After watching this video, I just have a big question: how do bears fit in this theory? I mean, like how important are they? We have Vincent, the Three Bears from PIB2, and the whole of Kung Fu Panda. Bears seem to be really important, but where do they fit in all these. Maybe something about the bear constellations. (Edit: myth with bears, Zeus and Kronos) They might be crucial in figuring out how important is Kung Fu Panda, and maybe even the timeline's order. But that's just a thought.
