For some reason, this whole game felt like it should be a TV series. The wholesome and funny moments between the characters as well as the epic martial arts fights. That series would be a must-see
There was a Mortal Kombat animated series before, wouldn’t complain to see one with this or other timeline styles like they did with the marvel what if universe, that be very entertaining.
They're supposed to be working on a new MAX series but haven't heard any updates on it lately. But yeah DOTR, Conquest and Legacy were all solid series. Would be up for a new one for sure.

The guy taking advantage bi-han opened a bottle, serve himself a shot, and then use an ice piece of the freeze attack, is pure gold comedy. Literally the guy who doesnt give a fuck, "not owe, not fear"
Johnny, Kenshi, Ashrah, Reptile, Kung Lao, and Baraka is the most random team I never knew I needed. They’re like the Justice League of MK but better. Please keep them as a team in the future😂😍
@@robin9759 right it would be such a waste if they didn’t. They used mk1 to basically establish the team so let’s hope they build on it. In a way I’d love to see them be the new “special forces.”
@@jordannng7180 I was mostly referring to having more chapters where the focus is on them and their relationship with each other. Whether it's plot related or just domestic. But you make a great point.
To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if he could've conjured up the paycheck. His shtick may be fire and thunder but that doesn't mean he couldn't pull another party trick out of his ass. Lol But hey, it's a moment of humility and that's always good.
It does. Liu Kang bailing out of style and in the right time, Johnny Cage immediately tried to deflect the bill to Kenshi. Kenshi himself politely dragged the Shaolin monks under the bus while Johnny pushed the check towards Raiden. Then Kung Lao straight up argue about it and Raiden tries to calm him down.
I love how Shoa and Reiko look at Kung loa in disgust and bewilderment as he juat inhales the food in front of him like "how is he fitting all that in him?"
The ending is so sweet and wholesome. And really all the scenes between Kenshi and Johnny, and Kung Lao and Raiden. You would think with all the blood and gore with the gameplay that the story would be dark and horrific, but I really dig the swashbuckling adventure direction they went for. I don't care for the alternative timeline twist in the last act but all in all I still love the story and I think they're just getting better and better with it.
12:25 - A lot of these moments had me smiling, maybe a light chuckle. Yet this one had me audibly laughing for some reason. It's the simple things, probably.
What's more funny of that scene is not only the fact that Johnny looks disgustingly how Syzoth eats that bug, but how he eating that bug sounds like he's eating a nice bunch of potato chips
As someone who owns a Bearded Dragon, two frogs and a Skink, - I love that Reptile acts and speaks juts like a lizard would if it could speak/was in a human body. Its adorable.

My Favorite Parts were that guy is just minding his own business when Raiden and Kung Lao were fighting against Sub Zero, and General Shao and Reiko saw what Kung Lao is eating for dinner.
(With the exeption of Nitara) Every character is very likeble in this game. You see so many origin stories in this game without feeling to big. They nailed it in this game
isn't it astounding how amazingly bad she was for the voice, she gave it no grit at all. she gave her a friggin Barbie voice. you're a bad guy and a vampire warrior in mortal kombat, she goes legally blonde on us.
Lui Kang is the imbodiment of a line i remember master splinter saying "First rule of being a ninja is do no harm!.....Unless you mean to do harm then do LOTS of harm!".
This one here feels more like an adventure you would see in a D&D campaing rather than a completely serious aphocalyptic story and I really like it tbh xD
but notice, there was no arrogance as much as drive, compassion, sentimentality, extroverted linguist, good with ppl, humble. He was imo the true hero that was comfy taking a back seat.

kind of feel sad for Liu Kang, it must have been lonely for him to see his old comrade's face but not really his comrade since this is the new timeline.
