To me it only really felt incomplete in the "Song" exchange, although, yeah, I can see this becoming a bigger problem.

I don’t even know why they changed it. It leaves less room for interactions. Also it appears there is no intros in tower mode and we only see them in versus or online. That sucks. It will really effect dlc chatacters necause this is their only interaction. Everyone likes the intros and we just skip them if we seen them all. But they did two for some reason this time.

About time he had this luck. In the previous timeline he was killed by Shang Tsung and then his body was necromanced by Dark Raiden. Then in the 2011 timeline he got killed by Raiden after half of the cast was annihilated by Sindel.

Shang Tsung goes under the alias Song to trick Kenshi into opening the well of souls in Snowblind. Kano ends up being the keeper of time and has access to the hourglass also on Snowblind.

​shang tsung does that in kenshi's in game backstory and he uses the name song in that as well. They just adapted it to snowblind

YOOOOOO, that actually makes a lot of sense, and it helps make both endings of Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath work because both timelines exist within the same multiverse, so the version of Shang Tsung from the timeline where he wins, must travel to the timeline where Liu Kang wins, and that’s the story, and explains why Liu is gathering Champions, He’s trying to defeat Bad Timeline Shang Tsung 😮

@@user-dr2uy5or9t I don't think he killed Kronika. He state he just somehow found the Hourglass chamber, that all. There is no mentioning Kronika at all. The Snow Blind movie is really just in it's own continuity, a what-if movie. Is not even canonical to the previous two movie. The team behind the movie state they wanted to create something new (but at the same time don't want to make an original character like Cole Young) so they decided to use one of many MK11 endings, and chose Kano, because they state fans will never predict Kano will be a big bad guy type. I mean they did a good job. A lot of people thought Shang Tsung gonna be the big bad at the end, turn out Kano just rip him apart, something that fans of MK never expect to see. And they also did the right thing inspired story from a what-if endings in actual MK game instead of creating some nonsense story like Cole Young.

@@Nov-5062 Intro dialogues are not canon 90% of the time. They can reference canon events but mostly are random banter that the devs think would be fun or cool to add. It's similar to how Raiden and Sub-Zero referenced Injustice 2 in MK11 considering both of them were guest characters in that game.

0:44 is definitely a reference to Joker in Injustice: Gods Among Us, considering he tricked Superman into fighting Doomsday, but he was actually fighting Lois and their unborn child. Joker also rigged an explosive to Lois' heartbeat, and when her heart stopped (because Superman fucking yeeted her into the blackness of Space), Metropolis was blown up into nothing but a more fiery mess than if Scorpion teleported to a gas station. Superman got heavy revenge after this incident, during the interrogation between Batman and Joker, by impaling him with nothing but his bare hand, starting his anti-heroic clan, known as the Regime. Which is pretty fucked up. Judging by what Liu Kang said, he must have done a Superman and killed the Joker too. But since he's a Buddhist monk, he kept his sanity and now protects Earthrealm (I think, I just recently got into the MK lore).

This reminded me that watching MK11 interactions compilations is pure suffering if the uploader doesn't make the necessary cuts. 70% of the video is them doing their intro poses before speaking, so I end up pressing the right arrow key for each interaction to skip to the dialogue.

Liu Kang's bio state this new enemy is something he could not anticipated, cannot foreseen it coming. While he never met Onaga, he knew about the Dragon King's tale. And now, Liu Kang know everything about Onaga thanks to the Hourglass. This new enemy, perhaps is something that is totally immuned to the Hourglass, Liu Kang don't know who he is...or she or it. Only Titans fit that description, and Dominic Cianciolo does confirm there is other Titans out there beside Kronika.

And with that, now I want Sindel playable in this game 🤣😂
