Mortal Kombat 1 Khaos Reigns (2024) is an expansion for Mortal Kombat 1 (2023) developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros Games. The expansion DLC is available on PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC on September 24, 2024.
Mortal Kombat 1 Khaos Reigns expands Liu Kang’s New Era with a new story campaign and an all-new cinematic experience where Liu Kang battles Titan Havik. Mortal Kombat 1 Khaos Reigns features reimagined stories and gameplay for Klassic Kombatants Noob Saibot, Cyrax, and Sektor, while also welcoming new faces to the Mortal Kombat universe-Ghostface, T-1000, and Conan the Barbarian.

I can't believe we still didn't get a proper MK9 Remaster. I recently made a deep dive video of X360 as the last great generation (hope I'm wrong) and when capturing the footage, I re-visited MK9. I'm in awe how amazing it is. The story mode - which serves as a reboot - is great, better than the 2020 movie we got. Gameplay, maps, characters are such a tribute to the arcade MK's from the 90's we grew up with.

My very first fighting game was Street Fighter 3rd strike and I still love playing it even now. I had a very old pc with only a core 2 duo so I started with 3rd strike, now as I have a better pc so I play Injustice 2 from time to time. I was overall impressed with the MK1 story, but this DLC story feels very rushed. The beginning was especially bad with absolutely zero subtlety. The new antagonist appears and suddenly all the leadup goes out the window and everyone's on the same side. Geras is being dragged away at a snail's pace by two measly grunts, yet nobody helps at all. The scenes in the arena are okay, but the scale of the battle is really thrown off by bad camera angles, shots of a bare crowd, and a tiny looking arena. The maze is so far the best part.

The first mortal kombat and the first street fighter were my first games, I THINK I got you by a few years 😂 Hopefully the vid does well I don’t play the story mode or any of the others I just go fight but some people do play the other story stuff
