@@jschlattfunnymic3069 I made Sub-0's FB do 51% with this feature. It wasn't hard, either. I did back 2, standing 4, FB, then mash 3. Normall that would do around 48%, but mashing 3 made it go up.
I don't really know what makes attacks OP or if they really are but the way UnderDawg hyped them up always gets me like "oh damn that's gotta be OP" lol
This move will be OP until it’s no longer new. But it’s a pretty good move in terms of pressure and mixups. Just gotta give people time to adapt to it.
I really liked Darrius as a reiko Main so I was sad other kameos were Just much more worth it with any other character I play, so this is giving me a smile
Im so happy seeing Darrius getting some more love!! And thanks for showing how versatile and great Darrius is as a cameo cause you're like the only major channel to show him off like that
Hey trueunderdawg, you mentioned you are in touch with people at NRS yea ? Well I noticed something within the game that’s been buggy. It has to deal with Nitaras brutality from the “quick taste” move. For about 4 weeks now I haven’t been able to trigger the brutality. All you do is mash a basic attack bottom. I noticed this change when the season 2 patch came out. Prior to this point I was able to trigger this brutality every single time, with ease ! It’s a minor bug / change (I don’t know why they would change the timing on this move) but it’s troubling at times- being a Nitara main myself & not being able to end my 40% combo with a brutality. When there’s countless other characters that don’t struggle with brutality inputs. Her brutality input was working fine for the first few months of the game, then patch 2 changed it. I’m typing this now because I’ve missed over 10 chances to end my wombo combo with a brutal. It just happened in back to back games and is Nitara mains are tired of it ! It would be cool if you could relay the simple message to someone at NRS
I always use Darrius for Sub-Zero to do a reset combo after a really good starter combo. He's really useful when you get the timing and his overhead attacks right. Also, if you mix up his overhead and they block, just slide attack or trip. Glad to see they added a new move for him.
This what the game should reward, creativity between base roster and the kameos. But it doesn’t it rewards playing crutch characters like Raiden and Johnny. Doing the same thing over and over nothing different the entire set.
I would literally only pick that Cameo guy with Tanya mainly because they were both matching 😂 I did find some combo extensions with him though but now that I added a new move I'm actually going to actually try now👍
You can do the Darius throw into overhead as a solo input and it only takes half bar. It's forward kameo then just press kameo again. Good for sub set ups with Klone and overhead
I'm not a fan of kameo characters but Darrius is my favorite because he actually feels like a team up! The throw is awesome and I really like how he actually fights with you if even only for a few moves.
This relates more to the new characters but in the store you can see which characters are coming in order under the Kombat Pack. If you don't believe me I'll list the order right here and you can see how accurate it is or will be: -Omni Man -Quan Chi -Peacemaker -Ermac -Homelander -Takashi The characters will be released in this order and if not I'll PayPal you like $20 or something idk
I would like to add a little correction sub zero could always do the throw clone set up in the corner it was just super hard you don't need bar for it. What the clone change does allow is teleport with motaro so clone is at your opponents back to push them in it. Or ex slide them in it
im sorry but the chip damage is crazy stupid in this game, when "eh" pros are scrubbing out some of the best in the world in kompetitions it speaks for itself, nerf chip damage NRS
Gotta be careful with darrius spin, its unsafe if the opponent flawless blocks the last hit, and its very telegraphed and cant be cancelled making it one of the easiest flawless blocks in the game.
I feel like these degree of changes should not be happening this early in MK1s life cycle. Just shows the game was not even kind of balanced on release
It's not really a hard-to-block. If an overhead and a low hit around the same time, the game will only make you block whatever hits first. So a low followed by an overhead on the next several frames can just be blocked low, and the overhead will count as a low. It's still a 50/50, just not a hard-to-block 50/50. The biggest utility of Darrius' overhead is the 50/50 it sets up breaks armor
I still can't believe that in the Kombat Kast they made Darius more better then Khameleon and I'm going to be really sad when Khameleon comes out because netherrealm studios completely shafted her
That’s because of the ice clone. Sun Zero did get a slight savage buff. He now gets 35% meterless and No Kameo, 385 with one bar, and 42% with one bar and Kameo
@@TrueUnderDawgGaming ahh I see. That’s pretty dope, I think Subs been getting so much bad press that I haven’t seen much from him online. The only clips of his combos on Twitter are the ones with the lowest damage and most amount of hits lol. Glad he’s getting some love
raiden and darrius? they have like no connection in story mode so that level of synergy is....shocking (yes i am fully aware characters that have no conection can be good cameo partners, im making a pun)
We never know if anything in the game is overpowered because you never show us online play. Everything can look great in practice mode, but not showing it against actual players makes it pointless.
Could Johnny Cage be giving a hint that Xena Warrior Princess is gonna be a DLC in the new combo pack? In the intro between Johnny Cage and Mileena Johnny says "there's nothing sexier then a Warrior Princess" 🤍🙏🤞
who gives a fuck if Kameo moves are "overpowered" or whatever. Good grief. you can say the same thing about any other videogame with super weapons you get from doing sidequests etc
