Hell yeah! I'm hella hype for this! Ermac looks sick, especially with that new mask on! Fire! 🔥🔥🐉 Also, I can't wait to see Mavado get revealed.. He was one of my favorites back in MK Deadly Alliance.. Also, in MK Armageddon, I enjoyed playing as Mavado because he had this really badass, awesome, super ninja looking costume in Armageddon you can select... Basically, what you all call skins, we called them either "alternate costumes" or "other costumes."

I said this back when the DLC trailer first dropped, but if you watch the audience's reaction to Ermac at SDCC, you'll notice that barely anyone cheered for him because they could not recognize him at all. It's ironic that Ermac is more recognizable when his face is covered up rather than exposed, although I guess that can go for any of the ninja characters. Thankfully, they listened and just gave him a mask.

Yeah, cuz zombie Liu Kang was a dead body brought back to life, but Ermac is an amalgamation of souls fighting as one, it's not >necessarily< an undead body thing, so there's plenty of room to work on that concept and the lazy ass mummy idea is the least interesting of all possibilities (all Ermac versions prior to MKX were interesting). Not to mention undead Liu Kang was just an alternative/temporary version of Liu Kang, but this goofy mummy Ermac is straight up normal Ermac.

In the story he most likely didn't have a mask so that you could read his face when he becomes Jerrod especially since he looks like a dehydrated fruit timelapse in reverse when Jerrod takes over
