J Jonah Jameson is in Mortal Kombat now I’ll never get that out of my head 😂 seriously JK Simmons voicing Omni Man is awesome especially in mortal kombat
Watched the train part from the show for the first time and was appalled… after a while it grew on me and I’m now happy to say I’m extremely excited that it is one of his fatalities.
I don't know much about Omni-Man, let alone where he's even from, but I absolutely love how good the devs did him. Other game devs should take notes here, this is absolute perfection.
i was worried they would make him a sluggish slow swinging brute, but man they really did him perfectly, effecient, quick, but has weight to his punches
As someone who is a much more casual fan of fighting games than most, seeing Omni-Man simply dodge not just ranged, but melee attacks as well was terrifying
Idk who he is but every time I see a picture of him, I say “ get me pictures of Spider-Man!” . Now I know why. Is this on hbo or something? I’m intrigued
@@eezz_ace2283Not really. Onaga, Shinnok, Scorpion can take him. Probably alot more characters in the roster can beat him. You have to do a detailed comparison,
A Viltrumite soldier is a terrifying concept. The more he ages, the stronger he gets, the more he fights the more experienced he gets. AND Nolan is the cream of the crop. The black ops. The elite. When he talks about conquering worlds, it's not bluster. It's what he was born and bred for.
That little floating air dodge is SUCH a good attention to detail. So little care for these people, just wants to be done with you. Absolutely incredible
@@A.C.RARI99 That fatality is Omni Man in a nutshell. He's a pissed-off psycho alien who would kill someone in an over-the-top way using innocent people just to prove a point.
A lot of people were complaining about multiple superheroes being in the pack, but now I think it's pretty obvious how different their actual gameplay will be. They did a good job on keeping him faithful to the show, which gives me high hopes for Homelander and Peacemaker.
I wouldn’t say it hits harder than the show. In the show, he knows Mark is going to survive and is trying to teach him a lesson. It really messes him up. But seeing it perfectly portrayed in MK, yeah it’s fucking sweet.
The train scene as the fatality is so perfect. That is insane. I still can’t believe we’re gonna have homelander vs omni man. What world are we living in
The way he’s just covered in blood is so accurate to the comics it’s actually insane, like his X-ray seemed like it came right out of invincible, honestly you guys nailed this one.
Lol los comics no tienen ni de cerca el gore de la serie, todas las escenas del final de la serie son originales,la traicion de nolan en los comics solo dura unos pocos capitulos y ya
maaaan !!! i have to pause that talaity to see all the people dying reaction was too fast dafuk did i just see , im not sure about low key tremor .. but omni is pornfood !
@@NotYourTypicalLakersFan I know a few game designers. But.....they made it OBVIOUS. Did you see how he levitated ABOVE John Cena and Omni Man on the promotional video for the DLC characters???
Nah, what's more disrespectful is him slamming his opponents on the ground just 2 tell them "Wait there real quick. I got this meteor rock with ya name on". 😂😂
Deep down Omni man cares for humanity and most of the time tries to reason with them since it’s utterly futile to fight a viltrumite if just one can do that much damage as a whole world destroyed imagine what a group of them can do for think people think
It’s How You Finish Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless. -Philippians 2:16 The most important part of the race is the finish line. Yes, the start is important, but you can have a bad start and still finish well. However, if you finish badly, it doesn’t matter how well you started. You’re simply tired, and it was all for nothing. Finishing is everything. In Acts 20, the apostle Paul talked about finishing the race of life well. He said, “But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus-the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God” (verse 24) When we’re young, we may think that we’re just starting our race. But we don’t know how long our lives will be. That is why we want to run the race of life well. And the objective is to finish well too. In the New Kings James Version of this verse, Paul says that he wants to finish his race “with joy.” Some Christians have lost their joy. They may have started off their race with joy, but then something happened to them. Maybe they lost interest in the things of God or other things crowded out their relationship with the Lord. They still do the things that they should as a Christian, but they’re simply going through the motions. And they’re not happy about it. They need to pray, like the psalmist David, “Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you” (Psalm 51:12) For the Christian, the race of life is not a sprint; it’s a long-distance run. As Hebrews encourages us, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith” (12:1-2) Paul warned about looking back in this race. He said, “No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us” (Philippians 3:13-14) You can’t run a good race if you’re looking over your shoulder. You can trip and fall. Don’t look wistfully at the sinful things you used to do. Put it behind you. Here’s how to run the race well and finish it well: Run it for Jesus. Don’t run it for people. Don’t run it out of mere duty. You have an audience of one. Jesus Christ Himself is watching you. So run for Him. Don’t just start your race well. Finish it well. And finish it with joy.
@@pedroxpedro Hell yeah. Ironically, I wish they were in Injustice 3, if that ever comes out. If it ever does come out, I really hope they put Constantine in. He’ll be my main from day one if they do.
It's basically near-impossible for anyone else in the game to have a fatality cooler than this, it's gonna seriously difficult to top this, that was incredible
you really notice how durable mark is when you see how the train fatality and the beatdown were tearing apart Kenshei while mark was still taking it and more
So weird seeing Omni Man look so... realistic. I dig it. Never thought we would see the man himself in an MK game but it's like he was made for Mortal Kombat he fits so perfectly...
The accurate representation of his strength and speed while also only fighting in a very reserved and functional style is really impressive. He fights with such smug superiority.

@@DeathRecon the mortal kombat characters doesn't have a power level, so characters like Raiden and Lyu Kang had just the enough strenght to beat his opponents
My favorite thing is they captured how powerful yet... nonchalant he is. almost all of his moves seem like they're at half speed, and the casual dodges.... it feels like he's just having a bit of fun before killing his prey.
@@Randommanontheinternet9641the show been out for years. If people get spoiled by their comment then that is their fault and not the original commenter.
The clear references to the show are a treat to see. Not just the fatality or other cut scene moves being the same but even the in game moves like the little spine break grab he has is a thing he did in the show. Love it.
Or the shockwave clap. Yea the attention to detail is always incredible. Just the way he looks at his opponents "What good would your deatch accomplish?" As his eyes point at Raidens body for a sec. Or telling Kenji that hes to weak with a look as if he felt sorry for him for even trying.
The lore accuracy is insane, From him showing less struggle in the beginning clashes, the fact he shows he's confident enough to beat them, To being simply fast enough to counter and dodge everyone's moves, It's things like this that make me love the devs more and more.
@@diddlenfiddle7311 Word to the wise when guest characters are involved, they aren't in the canon story except for their own unique endings. For example terminator beats Kronika and becomes titan of time in MK11. They basically receive a mini-story disconnected from main continuity of the game, and in the end they always win in their personal story.
@@sirwongalot7918he probably tried to make it sound cooler but "exacerbate" isn't the right word to use in this context oxford dictionary; *exacerbate* make (a problem, bad situation, or negative feeling) worse. "the exorbitant cost of land in urban areas only exacerbated the problem"
Having the train finisher just feels perfect. Wow as brutal as it was in the show. It’s so amazing to be able to play as this guy in a gorey, classic, fighting game franchise. I love what Mortal Kombat has become
I love what mortal kombat has become since like mk9 & they’ve only gotten better. Mk1 is no exception but just wish they’d get rid of guests completely
The fact that Omni-Mans moves are actually from the TV show and not some randomly made BS they just threw in makes me so happy and keeps him true to his character. The slam he did to Darkwing and The spine grab and the train finisher is immaculate and the best hit of nostalgia and dopamine I’ve had all year
The dodging instead of blocking within itself is impeccable!! Those small details make the over the top details like the Train fatality so much more impressive. Needless to say this is PERFECT
Enters 3 little girls! Made from sugar, spice, and everything nice except for one day Professor untonium accidently added a secret ingredient to the mix ....chemical X!
We need batman: the punisher, his suit looks fitting for mortal kombat, he could be creative with his moves and fatalities, and the fact that the fighters arent morally good is a perfect in-universe reason for the punisher to want to kill them.
So nobody noticed that Tremor has variations?!? He has crystal, gold and stone builds. I hope every future cameo has this much creativity added because that’s insane! Oh and Omni-man looks and plays like Omni-man
it wouldve been a nice touch for kameos to have variations so the there could be more combo potential but then i suppose they didnt go that route because it might have taken longer to release the game, hope its in a future update.
Omni Man also looks so chill when doing all of his fighting, intros, even his attitude towards the Kombatants is so chill, like he can take them with relative ease.

The train fatality is a nice way to show just how tough Invincible is. He got the absolute shit kicked out of him and went through this but survived in one piece. Kenshi's body was eviscerated by the speed of the train combined with the weight of every person he slammed into. They did a great job designing Omni-Man.
Also consider invincible can take it. He was also heavily awared and conspicuous witness many ppl on the train going throw him and he was screaming panicking because he could not do anything. Also in this fatality they didn't show the first train impact like he instantly in that train right now.
Did they just rip superman from injustices and put him in an omni skin? I'm not disrespecting just genuinely curious if any of his moves share any similarities with the man of steel from injustice.
I can't wait to hear the Omni-Man vs Homelander banter in the match-ups. I hope they got Homelander's actual actor to voice him. Omni-Man works so well because JK Simmons is killing it with the line delivery.
I love how they didn’t downplay his speed and also how the sound effects of his flight or some attacks is the same as the show. MK1 is really showing how much effort nether realm is putting in this game 🖤

Love the work they’ve been doing just wish ONE SINGLE dlc would be less than 40😭the die hard mk fan in me struggles against the broke college student in me
@@homelikecoder57and what sucks is there’s so many fighting games and good shit out, but broke college student knows better so I can’t buy anything. I’d only buy the game for Omni man and $110 is a lot
Now this. This is how you do a guest character justice Kudos to the devs for pefectly adapting Omni-Man's moves, aswell as those masterfully crafted finishers. Hot damn
This make me more Excited for the other DLC character. They nailed it with Omni Man, make me more excited to see Homelander and Peacemaker brings to the table.
Honestly- love how Omni-Man looks so powerful and intimidating whenever he crosses his arms (especially that counter shown against Kung Lao). It's almost as if he knows he has the power to take you down, but he's still willing to let you try and land a blow on him. Raw, unmatched pride and power, especially with his displays of speed. Reminds me of kabal a bit lol
@@gameendme7936People just J on others for no reason, I was getting mad at stupid shit like that (when unwarranted) but god, ya just see it happen so much you just stop giving a fuck. It’s like being cut off by someone-just another day!

I LOVE omni man's gameplay. While all other characters have powerful abilities, weapons, and projectiles, there's just this dude who keeps up by being so physically superior.
My favorite thing about this has got to be how they captured his inhuman speed. Making him move so fast that he immediately appears in another place, with only a blur and absolutely no keyframes to the animations, is such a nice touch. Excellent artistic direction.
This is the best representation of a character I've seen in my entire life playing videogames. The extreme attention to detail in the way he performs in-game like he does in the series is amazing. Not only, that he just looks amazing in general. Edit: I have realized that what I said is extremely biased, because I read my original comment and not even I agree with what I said lmao, I still think he's a really good representation just not objectively the best one.
This is good but the best character representation I have seen is Godzilla ps4 for how accurate it is to the movies. But I love how neatherrealm actually cares about accuracy as well especially introducing a character for the first time in a video game ever like omni man. They truly nailed him felt like I was watching the show haha
I think it was just the easiest characters for them to make, so they were finished first lol. It looks like the models for Omni Man and Homelander are just reskinned Superman from injustice
@@elijahcriswell1658 Could also have to do with the fact that Season 2 of Invincible comes out next week, and The Boys S4 will likely drop May or June next year as well. It’s a publicity move :)
Omni-man having moves based on his source material fitting perfectly to MK is just amazing. Can't think the same about Homelander, however, other than slicing with his laser vision, or impaling with his hands (or smashing someone's head on the wall while he's being touched lol).
absolutely adore how he normally just does a full circle of the planet to charge just the first punch, he's so simple yet super effective into hyping himself up to the player
I'm still bothered by Kenshi's 'brace' stance. The way his sword's positioned against the other person's fist, he literally has no leverage. You can't brace against shit with a reverse grip like that.
