Officially confirmed by Eurogamer, Takeda is now Kenshi’s cousin in this new era. He liked being part of the Yakuza and was ordered to kill Kenshi, but he failed and the Shirai Ryu took him in. Now he’s a vigilante trying to take down the criminal underworld for revenge. This is why no light sabers and more Shirai Ryu focus with the teleport and his heated whips.
@@Daninput Yes! Ed Boon posted on Twitter that they will be announcing new fighters, game modes, game features, and the Story expansion. Certain characters will be buffed and new moves are going to be added. It's an hour long panel. Cyrax, Sector, Noob Saibot, T-1000 from Terminator 2, Ghostface, and Conan The Barbarian are heavily rumored to join the main roster. No mentioning of Kameo fighters as of yet. Cyrax and Sector may be gender swapped in this new timeline which I really don't mind. Pretty exciting stuff🔥🔥🔥
i JUST realised that the kameos that go with takeda in the trailer are all cyber ninjas maybe this might be a tease towards them joining the main roster later on?

Wow over a decade later takeda is now in another mortal kombat 1 which I swear since MKX takeda was one of those standout characters that instantly became one of my favorites
I bet his second fatality is gonna be like kenshi where he puts the whip sword on your mouth and comes out of the you know who 😂 and pulls it out and guts spilling out of the mouth and body split in half
Well, a character can't save an entire game. Game is still broken and lacks so many game modes and stuff, so, yea, people will return to play Takeda, but after the honey moon ends, well, the player base will drop again

I definitely saw this trailer a few time he absolutely crazy and combo heavily just like MKX close enough I love it overall can’t wait to play him next week here

So in this timeline it’s pretty much confirmed that he’s not Kenshi’s son but he’s related to him in someway because his last name is still Takahashi, might be brothers or cousins or something now
Takeda's new design is sooooo fire 🔥 look like a yellow ninja power ranger 🤣. Takeda is easily the best kombat kid imo. Hopefully they do add the plasma sword at a later time. But so far, hes fucking awesome 🤘🔥
In MKX Jax said he designed takeda ronin sabers when he joined special forces In this new timeline he never joined so that’s my theory why he doesn’t have them
Parry Shen Returns, the Whip Sword, the Comedy and Fighting Swagger, and the Nightwing Inspiration in some Areas, Takeda Takahashi has Everything, but no Pulse Blade?😢😭😭, still I’m happy this Futuristic Ninja Returns in MK1 after 9 Years, plus I wonder since he looks Older, if he’s From the Future or another Universe and if the Pulse Blade are going to be given back to Sektor? We do see Lin Kuei Members as Kameos in this Trailer after all, coincidence, I think NO!
