I mean. It’s not commonly misremembered. He says it once in the show and twice in the comics. So it’s never misquoted. The meme just originated from the comic page.

At first i had fought against omni man so many times that I really learned how to punish a lot of his charge moves, but now fighting with him myself I can say he’s got a lot of cool things to him. He sort of fights like some of the characters in injustice did

Nope. All versions of Broly absolutely obliterate Omni-Man, and it isn't even close. Omni-Man is a multi continental buster at best. DBZ Broly is far beyond a planet buster in base, and DBS Broly is far beyond a universe buster in base.
