Best comment ever. U spoke nothing but the truth. I bought mk11 twice on switch a few years back, but I'm going to skip this one or wait for a deep sale. Can't justify paying over 100 dollars for this game. It's sad that the game isn't on the cartridge.

The Tegra is actually from January 2015.......so as of september 2023, it's closer to 9 year old hardware......The cpu cores are from 2012 (11 year old CPU cores)....GPU Cores from 2014 (9 Year old GPU Cores). In handheld mode it's basically a snapdragon 810.....very impressive....with backward compatibility, the next switch will be awesome to play my backlog of games on.

@kninezbanks hmmm. Its definitely not cutting edge anymore. Up on release, it definitely wasn't bad. It was advanced in its first couple of years. Remember they could've went for an even weaker chip than the Tegra x1, but they didn't. Anyway, love the switch. Such a great console that spawned wannabe pc handhelds thar commercially failed

I have a gaming laptop as well but I gravitate towards the switch for a lot of my gaming....I find that as I get older, I'm no longer attracted to AAA 3D games, but I also don't like most pure 2D games with exceptions like hollow knight. The switch is perfect for games with cartoonish graphics like mario games, zelda games, borderlands, severed steel, blue fire, trine franchise etc. Windows handhelds are great too, some of them, but most are too heavy and lack the battery life the switch has. Overall I'm excited for the switch 2 to play my backlog of switch games.

It's an downgrade from mk11 on switch. Mk11 looks so much better than mk1 but I came from the vita so I don't mind

MK11 on Switch started really bad graphically, but nowadays looks amazing to me. I even think that for the cutscenes they polished the game a lot, adding some scanlines.

Wtf Nier Automata was BAD? I've played the entire game and yes, it targets 720p handled and rarely reaches that, but is NOT a bad resolution. Doom is, MK11 is. You're really complain about a massive openworld like Nier Automata because it wasn't on par with PS4? Also, remember that docked it's 1080p while on PS4 is 900p roughly.

@@hugo-garcia Well if you can't notice the difference between MK11 and other games that came out on the Switch, that are/were more demanding hardware wise, but were just optimized properly, so they could look better, thats a good thing, because you can play basically any game on probably ANY CONSOLE throughout time and be fine with it, thats great, that will save you A LOT of money, I just know what the Switch is capable of and MK11 could of looked A LOT better and performed better, with the right optimization, I have not played MK1, for the Switch yet/I haven't seen it in person, I think MK1 looks better than MK11, in terms of visuals, at least from what I've seen in videos, but art style wise MK1 has been getting A LOT of hate though/I've heard people use the words, "the characters look like plastic", I also think MK1 is over priced, for what your getting as well; From what I've seen, I think MK1 is at least salvageable, visually and performance wise, with updates/patches, but MK11 still looks bad to this day/MK11 NEEDED A LOT more optimization, to get the visuals up to an acceptable level, when it comes to the standards we expect from the Switch and to get the performance COMPLETELY in check. The reason I didn't preorder/try and get MK1 day one, is, because of what was delivered last time, with MK11/I wanted to see if this was going to be any better/if they did a better job, this time around.

The Switch OLED's dock has a built-in ethernet port, and they're sold separately in some places. (at least I think they're still being sold.)

If you have fiber to the home ,you really don't need ethernet cord. You have amazing download speeds. Mine is over 200mbs.

I know but in the US the speeds are not that good. In Europe instead you have very good speeds like 2.5Gbps in Bulgaria or Romania. A friend told me that.

You know that all Nintendo Switch does support 2tb microSD card, the same amount of storage the Steam Deck also support. If you add the Switch OLED 64gb to a 2tb microSD than that's almost the same amount of storage you get with a $400 Steam Deck with a 2tb microSD card since the $400 Steam Deck also had 64gb of internal storage. The only different is that with the Switch OLED 64gb and Steam Deck 64gb, since the Steam Deck came with an OS and a bunch of apps and updates already on it, that 64gb may had used around 20% of its storage out of the box whereas the Switch OLED had literally no apps on it so that 64gb had only taken about 5% of its internal storage meaning it came with more available storage than even the $400 Steam Deck. The only issue with the Switch in general right now is that it doesn't support ssd storage so installing and playing games on it may not load so fast.

Mk9 for vita was better but it was something like 10 years ago
