I was 10 years old when the first mortal kombat came out in 1992 going to my local bowling alley here in Hawaii and hitting the arcade machines… miss those days 😢😢😢
I remember being in California, going to round tables pizza to watch older kids play it, i didn’t have quarters, but I enjoyed watching others play and move up the tower
I do wish he kept the swords. Scorpion was great in MK11. I did not always use him but that was his best version, in my opinion. I preferred the chains as well. I also find it weird to change Hanzo considering he is the favourite of Ed Boon. And one of the mascots of MK. They never had him in MK3 which was silly so he appeared in UMK3. Cyrax also changed from Botswana to Niger. What was wrong with Botswana?
@@TheeKingRayzor Because it hasn't really brought anything new to the table from MK11 and is looking and sounding less and less like a Mortal Kombat game with each iteration. Oldies like me grew up on the franchise and seen it take a turn for the worst since Mortal Kombat 9, which was an outstanding entry in the series. These games are getting a little bit too pretty for what these games are supposed to be, whilst also lacking substance. Graphics are awesome, but does it have that dark, nightmarish atmosphere that makes Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat? No, far from it, the stages don't even make sense. The animations are so janky, they've had so many years to fix them and they've done nothing. Game just looks like cardboard cut outs throwing limbs. And the violence is just too over the top. I don't know if you've heard the saying "Less is more". They need to be a bit cleverer in the delivery of the gore, it's just become like a comedy horror these days, it's too much. It's become so over the top and frequent that it's difficult to appreciate it. I think the series needs a return to its roots.
