There could be the same with Jacqui being a cousin of Jax than his daughter. This could mean they are trying to age most of the kombatants to their prime days

Based off all these dialogue intros, my theory is that Takeda was one of the goons for the yakuza, but he wanted out. Lui kang was like “Takeda is actually vital to this timeline so I’m gonna have to find a way to get him out of there… hey Kenshi I have an idea!” So he gets kenshi to introduce Takeda to the Shirai Ryu, having seen that the shirai Ryu are good guys he temporarily becomes a member, but he leaves. Why? Idk he says “it’s not for me” but I think it goes much deeper than that. I think he leaves because he originally wanted to use the shirai Ryu as a way to disband and defeat the yakuza, but the shirai Ryu are like “hey man… we’re kind of in charge of protecting earth so like… that’s kind of not our problem?? Also they’re small fry compared to all the wizards and demons we face” as hinted at in his exchanges with scorpion. so Takeda is like “alright fine… I’ll do it myself” hence why he’s in this “mission/journey” he’s on that we don’t know about as he’s exploring out world and whatever. Maybe outworld is linked to the yakuza in some way lmao idk how maybe outworld sells the yakuza netherrealm drugs or something😂 the other theory I’ve heard which I personally think is unlikely is that he’s actually the Takeda from the mkx timeline that somehow made it into this current one. Anyways, that’s enough rambling from me! I’m really happy you posted this because Takeda is the one character in the entire kombat pack I’m looking forward to the most I’m just so mad he’s the last character that’ll drop… he’s so far away! But when he does he’s gonna be the main DAY 1! I genuinely want to be one of the best Takedas in the world.
They hinted at it but they aren't playable. Also, It seems that Cyrax will follow a darker path like Bi Han did in this game. Edit: I just watched further in the video. Cyrax is with Kuai Kiang. Nevermind.

Oh snap, Tanya defeated Takeda?! Maybe a story chapter for Tanya in the DLC story…? I can’t wait for Takeda he was my biggest disappointment for Mk11 for not being present.
So I'm assuming takeda's new lore is him being a antihero similar to red hood maybe. He works alone, and his methods of protecting earthrealm are possibly quite brutal.
I am mad this isn't the Takeda from the original timeline because it would have been more interesting to see his reaction at how different Liu Kang made this timeline.
@mgm7321 I know everyone but Liu Kang is not from the og timeline, Sherlock. I am just saying it would be cool to see the original version of Takeda who is older and stronger interact with the alternative versions of the people he knows and how different they are compared to the ones he has known. He can also give us insight on what has happened to him while we learn more about this universe as well.

To everyone wondering the relationship between kenshi and takeda they’re still father and son but in a way where the kenshi of the new timeline isn’t the father so in order to make things less complicated takeda told everyone they’re just related
@@zaylinlynn8522 but they were from an alternate timeline, which means we simply don't know if they had the same relationships in their timeline or if it was different. They were just simply thrown in as a Cameo (not Kameo) at the end of the game so Kitana can get her revenge after they kicked her ass in mkx.

So perhaps Cyrax doesnt want to be cyberized and joins the shirai ryu or Sektor and Cyrax both have iron man like suits and Sektor and Cyrax have a feud.
So this Takeda is NOT a time displaced version but rather a cousin? Well the Kenshi clan needed more members but it still feel a bit wierd. Unless Son Takeda was named after this Takeda in honor
So...at this point these Kombat Kids who were some of the MK characters's kids can be used as different relatives than being their children 25 years later, Siblings or cousins.

I hope he shows up in MK1 Since he's a DLC character after all I used to like him back at MKX But now coming to MK1 I'm quietly surprised And I can't wait any longer 😁
It is too bad that he is not Kenshis son anymore in this storyline, especially if they had a lot to go over with him and the blind swordsman pre Mortal Kombat 1, which they scrapped apparently. BUT, im intrigued to see what they do with him.

Takeda's intros against the unknown fighter... Two of these intros piqued my interest. Scorpion no longer respects you. / Scorpion wants the Arctikan Hailstone. There is a possibility about the identity of the unknown fighter in this case... Noob Saibot. If, in this timeline, he is the twins's father/Elder Sub-Zero. If that is the case, it would explain both of these intros.
Disappointing that he's not Kenshi's son anymore, well the theory that he is still Kenshi's son through unspeakable means is still on the table, but them being cousins is still the official thing, until further updates. But yeah, kinda hoped it'd be a time-displaced Takeda.
I don't understand why Cyrax and Sektor were not in the story but both of them might be playable. They could have had Johnny fight them instead of Bi-han and Kuai Liang.
@@GoldCobra487 I just remembered the dialogue where Kung Lao flirts with Kitana so that she would appreciate his skills, who knows, maybe their fight will be shown in the DLC story
