I’m so excited to come play him when I come back from vacation, and he looks absolutely amazing! His combos are amazing and his fatalities are… *chef’s kiss* perfect.

The grab option in the (air) diabolical dash lets you move around after grabbing the opponent so you can fly them straight to the corner which is great. Back 3 also combos no matter what. Back 3 into back 1, 4 or back 3 into micro-dash 2,1 both lead to combos You were also onto something with the trajectory of Homelander's straight eye-beams because you can actually avoid them crouch-blocking at close range, but are forced to neutral crouch at range to avoid them. Homelander also has a very interesting jumping 4 as it keeps the opponent air-borne and right in-front of Homelander allowing for an easy 2,1 or 1,2 followup after for a little extra damage Corner you can do something like back+3 - back+1,4,diabolical dash+1 - 4 - 4 - 1,2,diabolical dash+1 - 2,1,2 and get some pretty solid damage. Something like 32% no meter or cameo. Could even stop after 2,1 and cancel into his sweeping laser for pressure on wakeup from the long startup, especially since sweeping laser is + on block if memory serves. Of course, if you're afraid of wakeup you can do the low laser eyes meter burn on their wakeup to snuff any armor, or regular laser eye to snuff standing armor and still be safe if they stand block

With Janet cameo you can turn your bf2,2 command grab into combo, and you can combo from back 3 without counter hit or punish.

If you want to be a psycho like Homelander... You can be really scummy with Serena... 35% low skill. (Don't start with B1 and it's literally no skill) B1>2,1>B, RB>2,1>B, RB>B2,2, 1+3(grab). Don't expect any respect for this combo... I just wanted to introduce this little nugget of evil into the world 🌎 🔥

He also needs to be able to come down when flying up and land a move

Homelander and Omni Man along With Lui Kang Are deff on the highest shelf of Mk1’s food chain, not many can actually top them

I'll admit, he has some saucy combos, and that's why I'll play him, but I bet some toxic players are still gonna spam his lasers and runaway; not making the game fun for anybody.

It’s weird how Omni Man doesn’t have a flight mechanic like Homelander considering he flies around earth and through space all the time but i guess they didn’t wanna make them too similar

Do back three before your kombo it might be harder but it's good damage

I just found this out, but you can get around 42% for no meter as Homelander paired with Cyrax. You can use the Diabolical Dash command grab in the air to drop your opponent onto Cyrax in the corner. B3, 21, US, J4, BF2,1, US, J4, BF2,1, 12, BF2,1, J2, BF2,2, K, J4, BF2,2, K, J2, BF2,2 US = Up + Stance Change You have to time the Kameo summon to when the opponent's neck snaps from the command grab and delay the J4 and J2 after the Kameo until the attack is about to end. Do it too quick, and the command grab will get canceled by Cyrax

You forgot the Fatal Blow. It’s a mid full screen laser eyes shot. The opponent can’t duck it. I’m not sure if it’s safe on block.

Im sure everybody else is saying this but you can use mavado on the seven slam u jus have to wait and then hit the opponent with another seven slam while they're blocking the mine and then they'll end up getting thrown onto it. Also u can throw the opponent onto the mine out of homelands grab.

Its easy to fly over people who are crouch walking your or who are about to corner you use the dash to fly over and avoid getting trapped

im pretty sure you can still combo from a raw back 3 but obviously it aint optimal to do it

He is insanely good against Omni man players most of his attacks are able to keep up with the viltrumite stance for example if timed right when the Omni man player uses his dash upper cut you can use hear no evil to catch him right before he hits you or if they use the upward launch the upper eye beams can knock him out of the air

Soooo I personally haven’t touched this game since initial release I still say it’s one of the best mk games ever definitely the best in the last 3 installments but I am I firm advocate in this being the best mk to watch hands down 🤌🏾 I watch my lil bro play all the time coaching from the backseat lol but I just wanna say i don’t even play but if you there kung loas low hat at the ground as you take flight it look like the opponent can’t see the hat coming👀 could be a easy counter meta but that’s a extra way to make him feel broken give him the loa low mixup

Diabolical Dash is a basically a copy of Running Man

The ear clap can kombo regularly. It may be a glitch, but as of now, it doesn't have to be a punish or counter hit.

he is really close to injustice super man, all the laser attacks works the same way

W analysis

Torn between Mavado or Janet Cage as kameos. With Janet Cage you get a full kombo off of his dash throw (and can kombo off 121 and some other stuff), but with Mavado you can full kombo off a regular throw AND the back 22 throw kombo (as well as the usual godlike kombo extensions Mavado gives everyone).

He needs to be able to run towards the other instead of fly

you don't need to do "Hear No Evil" as a counter hit or punish to combo... just do it raw and if you time it right you'll get a full combo (Also btw just use sareena for good damage lol)

Homelander can combo of his lasers with Darrius I tried it out

You can combine off See no evil air combo with scorpion fire breath to hit twice or make a longer combo

You can use flight multiple times mid air for meter

So Homelander is basically “haha laser go brrrrr”

god complex can ex which makes it a full launcher that you can combo into without cameo :)

The movie See No Evil you can actually combo off of it with scorpion cheaper than using Novato you have to wait a little bit until he takes out the eye so you can combo off of it and when you choke them in the air you can move them down and they can get hit by scorpions hit as well well you can combo off of it or extend it and if you do the it looks could kill you can still combo off of it as well with scorpion

This season they really said F the consumers and limited the amount of skins you can get from the shrine & from character mastery for the season. Usually every character gets like 2 to 4 skins that you can get with your coins and now it’s only one gear or one skin and call it a day. Shit is trash
