That first one wasn't Sheeva's fatality, they brought back Stage Fatalities, so that one is getting crushed by a arcade and the same with Noob getting impaled by Spikes, those are stage fatalities which are coming free in the update!

The arcade machine one was a stage fatality, which they're adding for free. It is a reference to a fatality from one of the older MK games (MK4?) where an arcade machine would drop from the sky and crush the loser.
