Kano’s ending is actually a really good lesson for a bad guy

Lui Kang: Uses the hourglass to be with kitana and loves her. Kitana: Doesn't even say something about Lui Kang and saves her own world. Woow.

Despite Kano being a Villain and a sleasebag, his ending has a pretty good message. Getting succes through effort will always be more satisfying than simply having it, meaning you'd have no goal.

I like how Sub-Zero rewound time and could almost instantly undo the horrors of his past whereas Scorpion tried the same and then found he has to fight even more beings to even have a chance at doing so. Scorps can't catch a break.

The terminator’s ending is best thing in the franchise since T2

Jacqui’s ending actually made me sad. I feel like hers was the most painful. She and Jax have such a loving relationship, it’s crazy. I can’t believe she couldn’t have a happy ending with her dad, and bringing her mom back, and help her dad’s mental health. Cassie, Sonya, and Johnny all had family based endings that were happy. Heck, even Jax had a good story. He would be utterly devastated by his daughter’s choice.

Kano is probably my favorite ending because he had realized that with infinite power he would get bored, so he made a timeline where he could have challenges to face

Sub-Zero's ending was perfect, how he wanted to redeem his clan's honor but then all he wanted was his brother mainly, that's understandable and cool too, Kuai Liang just wanted Bi-Han back by his side, all he wanted was his brother

Jacquie sacrifices herself for her dad and says he’d do the same, NOPE buddy cured racism and lived his best life afterwards lmaoooo

I wish Baraka had a lightside ending since he helped Kitana become Kahn.

Erron Black has the greatest ending, just everyone else is wondering how I’ll make history for the better or how I will conquer everything, even the 2 or 3 other guys that also said to let time play out are thinking of complex solutions to find that problem, and Erron Black is like “nah man imma just toss this sucker into the ocean”

So essentially: Shang Tsung: Is pretty much still scared by his own mortality Shao Kahn: Still kills others to bolster his ego Frost: Takes her petty need of recognition to the next level (seriously, did her parents never say I love you back?) Nightwolf: Restores History and passes on his mantle to another. Though I am not sure that is all his own achievement but I'm impressed Joker: Revels in Chaos as always, this time on a larger scale. Yeah, I guess nothing could change that. Johnny: Actually does the responsible thing, on his own accord and not even for his own benefit. Holy shit has that character grown. Sonya: Plays personal clean up Squad for all realms. Definitely has a "saving people" thing with a pinch of authority. Cassie: She takes a lot after her dad, but in a good way. Jax: Gets reduced to a race. Yeah well done Netherrealm. Seems like his history is better than the usual one so, so sure thing. You go Jax. Spawn: Becomes Netherrealm's personal Doomslayer Scorpion: Can't get over his past. Also, he can't get a break either. So now he is playing Kratos I guess. This is what happens if you basically get a shitty insect to delete years of character development in one sting. Noob Saibot: Paranoid and a bit fucked in the head isn't he? Baraka: He is just an animal in every sense of the word. Raiden: Goes full altruism and actually learns something. Jacqui: Holy fucking depression. Sub Zero: Actually saves that piece of shit. He is a way better brother than Bi-Han deserved. Kano: Basically gives up godly powers because it's cheating. Kabal: Despite his petty revenge, actually just wants a family. But honestly, just resurrecting Kronika has to be the biggest brainfart ever. Liu Kang: His sense of duty destroys all his happiness. Yeah.. uhm... cool I guess? Kitana: Comes to a painful realization and then actually manages to turn Outworld into a good place. Impressive. Kung Lao: Apparently has the same idea as Fire God Liu Kang does in canon. He's still petty though xD Jade: So she just instantly gets it right? Yeah, they ran out of ideas for her, didn't they? Skarlet: Takes her fetishes a bit too far Black: Just goes "fuck destiny" and sees what happens. I respect that. Dvorah: Is a shitty, disgusting insect with an inferiority complex. As always. Kotal: He kinda does what Erron Black does except he also guards the Hourglass. I am impressed. Terminator: Stops a war, mass-extinction and sacrifices himself due to logic. Also, he had to recreate T2 cause references and all. Geras: Automates the Hourglass and then just suicides. Yeah alright. Kollector: The Orange Lantern Core wants a new member. Sindel: Get's raped by Netherrealm studios... in the metaphorical sense I mean. Cetrion: Make everyone's life so shitty they will be glad to have some peace afterwards. Well that's just cruel.

I like how spawn acknowledges he's beyond help and redemption, but that doesn't mean he can't help others. Yeah he's a hellspawn... But one who clings to a semblance of humanity

I dislike Cetrion as a character, but I really like her ending, cause it makes sense. Give people a common enemy so fierce that peace will be sought out

I think most of the characters' endings are based on their personal desires. But I must admit that I think the saddest ending goes to jacqui's ending. She's willingly erasing and sacrificing her existence to prevent his Dad jax briggs to be a revenant, so she wind back the time when sindel attacked the earthrealmers, and also kitana and jade. She made sindel defeated. I think the best ending is erron's ending. You know, he sinks the hourglass into the sea of blood so the others cannot use it for their advantages. And the heroic ending goes to T800's ending.

I like how Cassie Cage and Johnny Cage has the most restrained wishes. They don't want to set everything right or save everyone. Cassie would just like her mother back and to do her best to make her proud and Johnny learns to grow up a bit, live with the pain and learn from it to become better and also just save Sonya. Nothing massive or huge like Sonya who wants to rid the universe of cosmic evil gods or Jax who wants to change the whole world for the better.
