If you're not sure how to disturb Reptile: pass through Goro's Dining Hall, up the stairs on the left. Use a Skeleton Key to unlock the door then dodge your way past the swinging axes. Use another Skeleton Key on the Torture Halls gate at (3135, 6486), put on Blindfold and then smash through the fake wall.

I honestly think he might just b unlockable through all this somehow. I read that if u don't attack him n just track him he can be seen taking ermac off the spikes in the pit
@@IceStryker13, yes he was when Liu Kang is walking around the temple with Johny, Liu Kang grabbed a reptile criature out of a wall and threw it to some corpse on the floor and then you hear the announcer saying "Reptile" and Ninja Reptile appears to fight Liu, in one of the best fights and soundtracks of the movie
So reptile was killed by an unnamed nobody with Shao Kahn's hammer, Kenshi died in Goro's lair, and Ermac somehow got pushed into the spike pit despite being able to levitate... Yup, this shit ain't canon.
Whoever designed the Krypt/Shang Tsung's Island did a fantastic job. Really, my only complaint is that I remember the Pit being a lot higher, and they seemed to combine the first 2.

I guess the Scorpion skin is a reference to how, in Reptile's first ever appearance as a hidden character, the fight against him didn't _call_ him Reptile. Name said Scorpion, with a green outfit, and Scorpion and Sub-Zero's movesets put together.
Clouted Vision can you only do it once a day and I even tried resetting the game and leaving the kyrpt but i only found him once after checking each location several times.
shpilg It wasn’t all to great to me tbh. The brutality is great but the skin is just a recolor of his default revenant one and the gear is meh so it really wasn’t worth the souls. Also, I do have the mk9 mask but I don’t remember how I got it. Might have been a krypt chest. Look at the mask in the gear menu and it should tell you where you’ll get it (although it won’t tell you how nor guarantee that you will sadly).
I always just stood still and they didn’t do shit to me so I always assumed they were small jumpscares until I freaked out, moved the character and was killed.

Yeah I had the same shit happen...I got lucky afterwards tho and the next 2 spots I checked after I killed him the first time I guessed right..but then I realized I was just wasting time I already got the scorpion skin and couldn’t care less about the 200 souls lol

First time I saw reptile with kenshi’s mask he was minding his own business and I hit him with the hammer, I felt so bad for reptile cuz he was just chillin and he got murdered
I really hope Reptile is DLC, mostly because I would like to see how he behaves on the good side (bc he serves Kotal) I'm already imagining his interactions with Shao Kahn: Reptile: You broke your promise! Shao Kahn: And what makes you think Kotal won't? Reptile: He's better
Seems like Kotal brings out the best in people. He's a strong leader that past villains can get behind (ermac, reptile and erron black) does what's best for Outworld while at the same time being a good guy with most of Earthrealm.
@@youdecidewhatmynameis3549 Nah he's good in X. Kung Jon only won because the devs have a hard-on for him and force you to play as him which means he'd beat anyone he came across in his chapter. Not to mention the MKX comic where he takes on Mileena's entire army himself and wins and beats Goro in a 1 on 1.

I have a question: when you kill Reptile after finding him in one of the locations, do you need to go away from the Krypt and get back to the main menu or you can keep looking for him? I don’t know, I mean, I just killed him in Goro’s Lair entrance, near the elevator, but I can’t find him in any of the other locations. Does he respawn where you’ve already smashed him?
Ngl I kept wondering why he was swinging the hammer everytime he put on the blindfold....Then I played the game myself and learnt why by having the crap scared outta me in the process
The explaination was a little bland for me sorry: But here's the jist. You pass both of the axes past the skeleton door in goros dining hall. After these axes there are 3 doors on either side of you. The 3rd cell to the right of you (which should be empty) Can be opened with a skeleton key. In that cell put on the blindfold which will reviel a breakable wall. Probably doesnt help but hey??
why after killing him in goro's lair I can't find him anymore? I went to pit bridge and dead woods but he isn't there. I need to open first the chest on the bridge?
To let everyone know, there’s a glitch in the Krypt where when you press and hold A ( X for PlayStation) and hold it the entire time... hold A while walking to one of the warrior shrine spikes and it’ll stab the head on it, so you don’t need to grind. Literally can take you 15 minutes instead of 27 hours EDIT you can use it on doors as well to unlock new areas. Not sure if they work on chests tho
So I know about him respawnjng and the cool down, but how does he respawn to one of the 10 locations? Do you have to leave to the main menu and come back? Or does it happen automatically while you’re still in there after you killed him?
This video was great! I'm disappointed that my favorite character wasn't playable but this is better than nothing! Oh and does anyone know if after you kill Reptile for the first time, will you find out the "secrets" that the statue at the beginning has?
Did you find any other spots? Because I heard of one spot where you set the blazed heart and also I didnt find Reptile on these locations now for 2 days. So I m curious whether there could be more.

I think theres an extra reptile spot in the bit after you open the one beings door, i put my blindfold on and got killed by something in not even a second so im pretty sure it was Reptile? Also, i just got a sub zero skin for killing him the first time, not a scorpion one. Is that normal lol?
My first spawn location was the lower pit. he didn't appear in any other locations as I went through he respawned back in the lower pit has this been changed ?
Adam Sanchez no need to farm for shinnoks amulet, there’s nothing great behind that wall. Trust me I’ve already made over 5 million and spent it all in the Krypt chests. You’re best bet is to go in the room where all chest are 15k the room with the swinging pillars that you have to run past, loot everything in that room. Reset the boxes and repeat. You’ll get all the good skins and everything.
Adam Sanchez I hate how they challenged and puzzles in the Krypt are pointless because the boxes are still randomizes. So it’s pointless to complete them, especially when you don’t get a achievement or real rare reward from it. The only thing in the Krypt yoU should do is open all Krypt chest, all Shao Kahn chest of gear you actually like for that character, then the heads for all the characters you like. Even whenever you get all heads in the game the rooms that open up are still randomizes so it’s just extra boxes to loot so nothing special or guaranteed in those either. Stay away from that kytinn hive puzzle, it’s pointless. Literally one of my friends got the Liu Kang God skin from that Shao Kahn box next to that puzzle from the door that is opened by the dragon amulet
The locations are Goros lair , pit bridge , deadly woods , gardens , lower courtyard , another in goros layer palace entrance , courtyard , lower pit and armory.
This is my concern... when you’re in the Krypt and go to your Inventory, it doesn’t show the heads of anyone BESIDES the ones you actually did 50 fatalities to. Will all the heads be used for something sometime during the Krypt?
Sometimes he doesn't show up in any of these locations for me. I've only got him twice so far. Is there a 24 hour wait time for him to spawn back in the game?
Quick question, those demon things that come after you when put on Kensei's Bandana on (RIP) and you get stuff from if you smash them fast enough, those are infinite, right or is there a certain point where you stop encountering them? I understand that they're not the best farming method, but still...
It's random when they come as far as I know, but you can use one of the items from your inventory to temporarily prevent them from coming after you while wearing the blindfold.

AWiseMelon Did you not watch the whole video because it the locations are randomly set so there's really no point of putting the clips in order when the player would get there because there is zero guarantee he would be there when the player would get there.
matt ford I watched the whole video, and I know the locations are random. You don't check randomly though, do you? You start at one location, then if he's not there, you check the next closest location,if he's not there go to the next closest location etc. That's what I mean
Potentially yes but I did encounter a cool down so there might be something in there to prevent too many Souls per hour. Maybe 1000 an hour is about right.
Just keep going. Sometimes there will be a delay. I dont know the reason. If that happens you just need to wait couple of minutes and then continue farming.
This is Shang Tsung island... However... The Deadwoods SHOULDN'T be here. In Kitana's and Smoke's chapters it is confirmed that the Dead Woods are near the palace, which is not on Shang Tsung's Island.
