I think they went overboard with non-MK characters. Spawn fits the roster well, but people wanted to see Reptile, Smoke, Ermac, Goro etc. Don't understand why they didn't include Cyrax and Sektor since you fight against them in story mode and they already had model and moveset. I had hoped aftermath would have been like Trilogy or Armageddon, bringing all the characters playable from this series of MK games.
It's a way to create artificial demand for characters to return in future titles, as well as making them 'new' in that future, to newer players. Just good ol milking.
The character list is very big. And it's very expensive, also MK11 is an very complex game, with infinte combinations of different character gears and customization for everyone, it's very amazing this game
maybe you will consider to add REPTILE, ERMAC, SEKTOR, CYRAX, SMOKE, KENSHI, GORO, KINTARO, SHINNOK, QUANCHI and CHAMELEON to the next DLC... it would be AWESOME
I prefer the roster of MKX. Imagine if MKX and MK11 combined all characters... one giant roster with a compilation of all characters... just Motaro would be missing.
The only characters I miss from X are predator and the Texas chainsaw guy. Mk11 has a better roster overall. We get rain and scarlet back plus they added the joker, the terminator, robo cop, Rambo AND spawn?? Spawn and the joker already are just the best lol. The only characters I still wish it had are smoke
Mortal Kombat 11 is a masterpiece but it's still the same characters. They should have added Smoke, Kenshi, Ermac, Chameleon, Cyrax and Sektor, I hope they will add Smoke in Mortal Kombat 12... 🙁☹😟
I cant, my dad has a 4 gig ram laptop. I've been asking him for a playstation but he said no. So i'll work hard and graduate so if i have my own job i can finally have and play one.
@@cxttafps546 in normal, you get the starting characters and no gear. But in ultimate, you get all the characters (excluding dlc) and gear for all those characters
Where is Ferra/Torr, Smoke, Quan Chi, Reptile, Stryker, Tanya, Motaro? I like what they did to Scarlet, Barraka, Kabal, Nightwolf, & Noob. Characters that were often shoved to the background and have now grown. They should do the same to Ashrah, Nitara, Tanya, Rain, Motoro, Lei Mei
I bought the ultimate edition on Xbox and only a few DLC characters have unlocked.do I need to play the campaign a few times to unlock them or do I need to play the other modes to unlock them.
Very sad that: Smoke,Stryker,Tanya,Cyrax,Sektor,Reptile,Ermac,Kenshi,Nitara And finally Havik & Reiko They weren't included,I really wanted to play with them in this last dlc of history Along with the others characters from the dlc itself,well there could have been another dlc pack with these missing characters,it's really very sad and it makes A pain in my heart Who else was also sad that these characters weren't included in the game? 🥺😭🤧 like and Bye!

So let me get this straight. If I buy mk11, I don't get the extra characters but if I buy mk11 ultimate, that just means they give me the permission to buy the extra characters?? Like why aren't they just unlockable and have to be purchased with real money after buying the game?
Can someone help me please, I downloaded this game today on my Switch, and from the main character screen, there are alot that aren't highlighted (can't chose them) . How do I enable all characters to be playable?
I think Mk goes too far with movie characters. A guessed character was just one funny addition (like Noctis in Tekken, Lars in Naruto or Freddy in Mk9). Having 5 movie characters when there are so many classic missings...Maybe it's just a personal opinion, but movie characters feel boring to me. I'd rather have Reptile, Kenshi, Ermac, Kintaro, Takeda, Tanya, the cyborgs... Even some other not so popular mk chars like Asrah or Shujinko.
I hope they put Geralt of Rivia in the next game since they didn't in mk11 he is perfect for that world and be interesting to see what side story they would give him i would love the see that

I got mk Ultimate, it was still downloading characters and some of them were playable after they finish, how come there are still characters like robocop that makes me pay? I thought I got all 37 characters wit ultimate?
Traci lords dlc... Johnny was her mentor... Riden was her master... She enemies with sub zero and Sonya... Her special move is doing the splits and headbutting you... And her projectile is throwing a blue condom at your head...
I never understood the addition of characters outside the mk universe. Why add Rambo, the joker, terminator, etc? Instead add characters that we haven't see in a while, like nitara, or that one ohni with the flies around him, Kenshi, etc
