Personally, I would love to see Onaga as the main villain in MK12. He's been gone for too long, and if they can bring back Shao Kahn in every game (which I'm not complaining about because he's my favorite MK character), then they can probably bring back Onaga. I also want to see Ghost Rider as a guest character. I think he's the perfect character for Mortal Kombat.

Kabal is probably one of the most, if not the most developed member of the Black Dragon due to him having a redemption arc and actually trying to commit to it until Havik saved his life. MK11 made him into a generic goon, stripped him of his depth and ambition and I hate it. They need to bring back Kabal as a hero or anti hero at most.

@@JamesJome123 Yeah it's a bit disappointing they broke the pattern of it being 24 or 28 characters on the launch roster. Quan Chi should of been on the roster, so his dlc spot could have gone to someone else.

I would want a half and half for the base roster. Half returning characters like Fire-God Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Cassie Cage, Takeda, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Kitana. The other half would be new faces like the Great Kung Lao and other new faces in the new timeline. We can't forget, this is a new timeline. New faces will show up and things will go differently than the original. I think there will also be a new bad guy that is an equal to Fire-God Liu Kang. I can't wait to see what Ed and the team has in store!

I feel like with the way the aftermath DLC story ended, it would make the most sense for the Liu Kang we got in MK 12 was the Fire God version of him. Also, with how much Havik was mentioned in MK11, I really hope they bring him back. And I feel like they could revamp Reiko and make him a new, more powerful villain. And I know this is a totally random character that I feel wasn't a huge fan based character from MKX, but I really enjoyed Ferra/Torr.

I think that's all but a guarantee at this point. Considering how amazing the characters looked compared to MK9 and MKX, there's no reason for NetherRealm to go back to the old designs. Graphically , I think MK12 might exceed MK11, which would be amazing given the attention to detail in MK11

I'm glad that you put Sereena in the main rooster. For me it would be great to see MK lore before the first tournament, to see The Great Kung Lao practice storyline, and some of Sub-Zero's mythology references. So characters like Sereena or the Gran Master would be perfect to fit in that timeline. Also some Special Forces against The Black Dragon references, etc, etc. Saludos compa

Shujinko Ashra Havoc so many non trending characters that can be revamped besides Mokap. These same characters we had in Konquest mode and actually added to the mysticism of Mortal Kombat. It's the mystic magical realm traveling of classic MK that made me a fan

Great list Cage! Happy to see Frost on your roster, I think she's an awesome character and has a lot of potential for cool stories or maybe even a redemption arc. She's Sub-Zero's apprentice who hates Scorpion/the Shirai Ryu, has a rivalry with Cassie Cage and becomes a cyborg. Doesn't get much more epic than that lol.

Not sure if you realize this but the end of MK11 showed Lui Kang talking to the original Kung Lao. Meaning people like Jacqui and Cassie weren't born yet. Meaning we are going to see a lot of old school characters.

They did say in mk11 that sub zero would bring cyrax back as robot or human when he shut down the cyber lin kui factory so that confirmed in mk12. Love your vids cant wait to play as scorpion. Also quan chi is confirmed when scorpion said that noob saibot was sollowed in storms of shadow.

Don't forget Liu Kangs' long lost descendant ancestor was Onaga the Dragon King. Which is probably why he becomes a dragon because of Nighwolf talked about releasing his animality. Onaga was the toughest villain out of the whole MK franchise. We will probably see him as the Main Villain.
