13:18 - I toyed a lot with this glitch back in time. 19:38 - I remember playing a rented cartridge like that. Baraka was floating and you could apply a Fatality at any time during the fight. I though it was just a bootleg version of MK2.
19:25 I played that SNES version back in the 90s. And I thought Baraka had the ability to float in the air like that. And every time I had to face him, he kicked my ass. lol
21:19 - A crash so horrifying, the game's internal code cries out in agony, causing the world to collapse into an error handler to say "YOU SCREWED THE NATURAL ORDER"
Wow I find the stuck frame glitches amusingly funny yet stobourn, especially back in the day if you played these games at the arcade, but still funny as hell
Hi, I played the Amiga version for years and have no recollection of being it so glitchy. In fact, it rarely crashed. The problem with the amiga version was that, different characters had data on different disks (It was 4 disks in total if I remember correctly). Furthermore, different Finishes had different disks as well. For example if you did a Finish involving explosion (Kitana's kiss for example) you had to swap 2 disks (1 and 4 I guess) to let it load. It was similar for Friendships etc. And another thing, Shang Tsung could morph only into opposing character (to Scorpion if vs. Scorpion for example). The problem with the glitches in this video may be related with the partition of data between disks in the specific version shown here or problematic disk swapping (changing disks while loading maybe? I don't know) I never had such glitches when I played MKII for years. And to be honest, even though it looks lame today, it was almost a miracle to have an arcade game of this magnitude on Amiga at that time.
I remember this version. It was fun, although quite tedious with constant disc swapping. Also I believe 4th disc was rarely used. ...I know this comment was from 3 years ago, but I wanted to say hi.
I remember doing the SNES glitches for hours. I've never seen the Beta versions b4, tho. Hilarious!! PS - The rumors of punching/exploding babies at Babalities are finally answered. Is Arcade only, tho. In MK3 for SNES glitches however, it's possible.
When I was in the Navy in the mid 90s, the pizza parlor / sports club at our base (NAS Alameda) got a version of MKII where I was able to, using Mileena, do a Friendship or Babality on them, and then uppercut them out of it. I even figured out how to do Mileena's inhalation Fatality after I performed a Babality on them! I wish I knew what version of the MKII ROM it had. I cracked myself up doing that! I could do some cool stuff with other characters too, but Mileena was easiest for me, as I recall.
9:49 - BLOOD RAIN! 27:12 - Near-Sighted Liu Kang (or he had mercy on Jax, take your pick) 27:55 - Reptile's "Tasty Snack" Fatality MISSES but eats a head (out of thin air)
8:25 , when i see that sub zero did that (maybe 11 years ago) in snes , i couldn't believe it !!! but today i understand that is posible :) i am not crazy hahaha
I remember a glitch in the Arcade version where if Shang Tsung does Kitana's flying punch, he turns into a colored mismatch and just bonks into the enemy and does no damage.
Scorpions Hellfire fatality can be performed from anywhere by simply pressing 2xDown, 2xUp and HP, instead 2xUp and HP from sweep distance. this is the second glitch I learned. the first, on PC, is that whenever you play against Smoke, the game becomes ludicrously hard, even in the very easy option. just play with Smoke and begin a new game in very easy. you'll see even the very first AI opponent reacts incredibly fast and smacks you totally within seconds as if its the last one on very hard. I've finished this game only twice.
Your video are awesome! There is another one glitch on Sega. Normally, on the second stage during fatality defeated character moved up onto thorns at the ceiling. But sometimes this body doesn't hold and fall back after s few seconds.
