I prefer this game over the newer versions. This is authentic and brings back so many memories. The sounds of the characters, mainly Liu Kang. Joobedoobedooo
The problem with MK after Deadly Alliance, is that the game became too much of fan service. No new concepts, no new stories, no new relevant characters (always rely on the same popular characters), no risks at all. The older MK games where much more authentic and creative.
When I was in first grade I remember my uncle Dave playing this game , and me seeing this character. I thought " wow her hair is so long and she has cool powers ! " . From there my interest in this character turned into love and Sindel has been my favorite Mortal Kombat character ever since. She is a witchy warrior Queen, with a tragic backstory and I hope we see more of her in Mortal Kombat 11.

In the storyline, she was a bad guy under Shao Kahn's influence after being resurrected and when Kahn was defeated by Liu Kang, she turned back into her normal self remained in goodness. That's all I can remember.
In MK9 however, Sindel isn't so lucky as she gets Shang Tsung's souls simply because Raiden killed Motaro which resulted in her killing all of Earthrealm's Champions and Nightwolf had to do a heroic sacrifice to stop her.
Loved Mortal Kombat 3. Such a cool, creepy vibe. Newer versions don’t do it for me. Sindel was my favorite character. I tried other characters but I always missed her scream 😂

You know whats sad about Sindel... In UMK3 when she performs her scream fatality, it's only the first sprite. In MK3 each character has 5-6 sprites of animation of flesh ripping out.
Still the best MK till date apart from Trilogy. And does anyone notice in MK3/MK3 Trilogy you can’t just grab characters while fighting anytime by either holding back + block button or down back + block button? MK X and MK 11 is all about grab. Also don’t like the idea that it has no run command button. They should have used the Right Stick (PS4 and Xbox) instead. Anyone agree?

Хотя есть же: останавливающий прием, воздушный фаербол (которым можно обломать атаку противника или задержаться в воздухе чтобы переждать пролет фаербола противника) и главное - комбо 40%! Сейчас смотрю и осознаю, что она была ох как недооценена.

Anyone else ever see the way Sonya looks mixed with her outfit and the color of it, her hair in a ponytail and her pink rings make a connection of bubblegum? I always have. If that makes any sense.
Holy shit the backlash you got lol but I agree with you, ONLY reason I clicked on a Sindel playthrough was to see her gameplay, not a fucking speedrun/exploit clustered run. Fucking boring shit to watch. And no I won't do a more entertaining let's play myself, I will just look up someone who is much more entertaining then this boring player.
You don't seem to have the slightest clue about how the AI works in these games. You HAVE to spam any cheap combos that work against it or you will lose and lose and lose and lose.
