In these walkthrough videos I show how to complete all Side-Missions as well as point out the locations of all unlockables (hidden characters, alternate costumes etc).
Mortal Kombat : Deception is my personal favourite '3D' Mortal Kombat game. Released in 2004, two years after Deadly Alliance, this game delivers in both quality AND quantity.
The game contains an abundance of 'Kontent'. Not only do we have the traditional one-on-one fighting modes; this game also contains 'Chess Kombat' & 'Puzzle Kombat', two excellent new additions.
Also, Konquest mode makes a return from Deadly Alliance, although here it is a full-blown RPG set in the Mortal Kombat universe. It is the main reason why Deception is my favourite '3D' Mortal Kombat game.
A MUST own game for Mortal Kombat fans.

The whole life trope is so underused for some reason. It's just so good to see your character grow from a little brat to a wise and hardened old master. That's why Fable was so amazing and that's why Konquest mode here is great as well. I wish there were more RPGs like that.

I'm just gonna say it for those that are having trouble or hated this part... 1.she always switches to the kobu jutsu 2.she is WAY too quick 3.once she damages you,you'll never have the chance to harm her 4.when you think you're close to defeating her she rapidly uses the branch combo 5.she blocks too often 6.lastly,shunjinko could've just selected a character instead of just using himself

To beat that scorpion fight challenge ( to unlock a costume I believe ) beat all of conquest then return to him. This will make it so instead of playing as the most recent character shujinko trained with, you will get a random character each time you enter the fight. Keep entering the fight challenge until you get Kobra. Do the following combo : down, back circle, square, square, triangle, X. Spam that combo. It's incredibly effective. xD

MrGStar321, what you need to do for the fight challenges is to concentrate, dont speak, and try not to panic when you are in the mist of losing or vice versa. Trust me its worked for that scorpion fight challenge and the shang tsung fight challenge. Just doing those 3 things I mentioned you'll get those challenges within a reasonable amount of time.

Yes it was. I've done 7-star Mantis (Shujinko and Kung Lao's style) a little over 20 years now. That's one thing I liked about Deception and DA, they actually used techniques from the styles.
