They did it in injustice with superman and supergirl they could lean into their uniqueness like homelanders laser eyes and loud screeching where as omni man could be more of a brawler with actual training and combat moves

Now for homelander and omniman..... very little difference.... homelander got heat vision and de funny screaming shit but thats not alot.... he needs wayyyyyy more for a full moveset like kenshi and say yoshimitsu from tekken have their swords which gives alot of possibility. But soylander and j jonahjameson are punchy superman in a combat sence.....
I don't know if anyone is talking about this but we finally have JCVD in a Mortal Kombat game. He was one of the casting choices for Johnny cage in the original Mortal Kombat movie.
I thought Johnny Cage was going to look like them but no it seems like he's just doing the voice, which sucks to be honest. It should have actually been jcvd

So excited to play as Homelander. Homelander vs. Omni man is going to be dope. Also glad my favorite character Ermack is back and that Takeda is back. Really missed them in the last game. I swear the guest characters are really the main thing making me want to play this game.

I agree 100%, with the small exception of being more hype for omni than HL, but i Really wish they went for a 3rd superman stand-in character over peacemaker. I think Injustice supes (with a reworked kit) would have been the coolest, but there are a Ton of Superman stand-ins out there (sentry, hyperion, or gladiator from marvel, Icon or Dr Manhattan from DC/Vertigo, or even the plutonian from irredeemable)
Given how all six of these characters were OUTRIGHT confirmed today, that means that the 5 Kameo fighters are also all confirmed. And since Khameleon is a Kameo, then Reptile HAS to be a playable character.

Homelander really feels like it fits, becoming an anti-hero/villain in their series, but also being somewhat vulnerable because their not just a Superman ripoff in endurance/physical tolerability
Every one of the guest character packs in the series (aside from mk9) have had a specific theme. It was horror characters in X, 80's action heroes in 11 (aside from joker and spawn) and this one seems to be evil or morally grey superheroes
We couldn't go more then 1 game without Quan chi...ALMOST 7 GAMES IN A ROW. Would've been 8 if the dlc for mk vs dc wasnt scrapped. He's not even that important anymore and doesn't need to be since it's a complete new universe
I don’t believe the “leaks” everyone wanted omni-man, peacemaker and homelander and now they’re in the game. Way too much of a coincidence. I’ll believe it when I see it
I think the big one is Omni man alongside Homelander and Takeda. I don't see it as a good thing to have 2 guest character be the same type of archtype (deconstructions of evil superman). Takeda also being in 11 with early on dlc means that Kenshi had baby Takeda 18-25 years prior which unless he older is way to early for Kenshi to have a son.
Well, i think John DiMaggio should do the voice of Omni-Man kinda similar to J. Jonah Jameson from Lego Marvel Superheroes. Honestly, i'm ready for Reagan Ridley from Inside Job to be in the game. And Zhongli will be awesome in the game. As well as Naofumi, another anime character in the game since Kazuma in MK11.
If Homelander actually makes it to MK1, it would explain why The Boys is taking a bit longer for S4... that would be amazing. And probably a reason to buy it for me.

I mean, the DLC guests for the last two games had themes (MKX had horror guests and MK11 had action guests + Joker and Spawn which technically do fall under action). It doesn't seem farfetched if they have another theme for this one.
It's definitely Anthony Starr, he tweeted a couple months back that if people see him with blonde dye is because of something cool "coming soon", meaning either The Boys or MK 1🤣
I'm kinda skeptical because Ash Williams was supposedly to be apart of MK11 but never was but at the same time we go two fan favorite fictional mash ups the past 2 games, Alien and Predator being in a game together again. Than Mk11 we got to actually do Robo cop vs Terminator. so Homelander and Omni man in the next Mk game isn't far fetched
I liked how you structured this video basically blowing the guest characters and basically gave a feeling of “of yeah these dickheads are also here” with the actual MK characters lol
Either Omni-Man or Homelander would have been fine but getting both kinda sucks, its like Nether Realm just decided that they already had Super Man assets so they'd just throw in two Evil Super Men to make things easy for themselves.
Thank god they're finally bringing back ermac. Seriously, they gave him such a good model in 11 just to literally throw him away. I'm also glad they retconned all the wack bs from mk11's main story.
