A good, dynamic, easy to listen mix. Perfect example of not needing to do exorbitant and flabbergasting turnarounds to create a good remix. Flawless melody.
I know right That one was good but THIS should be the version in the movie The official version sounds too much like a remix when it should sound more like a theme song like this one does

I love how it starts with the 90s announcer voice when he says test your might then switches to MKX/MK 11 when he says fight. A mix of classic and modern day. Not a huge fan of MK I play a little bit of it. I’ve played MKX a bit. I’m not one that’s very dedicated I just play because the goriness. I also like the announcer in the games from MK 1-3 and 9-11
Ah... you are what my American literature professor would call "a careful reader". A major fan. That's good. I'm one too. We see every single detail in the things we are fans of... That could mean a fan of music, or stage performances, or art, or literature, or films ...and to games as well. ( Not sports. Games. ) ANYWAYS, I was at 3 meetings tween major fans and their "heroes"... in all instances the fan was correct more than the "hero" or creator. What's more, the creators ( the rock star, the movie director, and the writer ) all backed out of the difference of opinion saying pretty much the same thing - "Well, you'd know better than I would. " At first I thought that saying that was a slight, a passive aggressive way to say "Screw you, it's my work!" But, there was no anger in any the words. They were used to being the object of much scrutiny and they had learned that often fans are experts of the subjects they love. You wouldn't contradict a Literature professor even if you were Stephen King. Stephen would politely lesson knowing that person had dedicated a lot if their life in deep study of something, and now they are an expert in it - even if it is Stephen King's own writing. Next time someone scoffs at you for being just an "FAN" of Mortal Kombat, instead think about them saying: "...you're just an expert. Just a professor. Just a scholar of Mortal Kombat." Because what is a scholar of literature if not just a fan of books, ... or comic books, or the theater, or film, ... or arcade games with stories and music and actors? None. There is no real difference. Pop culture is culture.
I agree absolutely. The beats from the original and new one are pretty good, but for god sake I hate so much that brutal techno rap beat craziness it is absolutely out. This remix is muuuch better.
Thank you so much for picking up the ball and running with it after Wallfisch dropped it on his shit version of the theme. You properly updated it and brought it into 2021, unlike his half dubstep knockoff. This knocked it outta the park for me, and I'm so glad it exists as a replacement.
I appreciate it, when they released the first trailer and the theme song wasn’t in it I was a little skeptic that they might not actually do anything to celebrate the 1995 version. So I spent a few days and compose this track in tribute to the original, which I still listen too this very day. The Immortal blessed us with a song that can never age.
@@boatymcboatface6969 True, the new one isn't completely useless, but this honestly celebrated the original, bringing out some of it's best beats and expanding on Shao Kahn, making it flow better, and even adding variety. Even at its best, the new one stands no chance compared to this. You could say this is a "Fatality", but I'd say this is really a "Flawless Victory".
This shoulda played this at the end of the movie instead!! Fuck yes! perfect balance of old and new. It has that I wanna rage vibe. The other one never really peaks at all, low energy IMO

a puesto que saldra pronto una secuela y pondran esta rolita,no importa si es 90s pero es lo maximo esta musica tekno,chevere el sonido y las frases que epico,seguramente en la secuela veremos algo parecido con lo que fue con la pelicula original,ajaula que hagan bien al dragon del videojuego MK3

@@Akidna maybe. But to me the original is a very old tune I heard a million times. Even though I absolutely love it, your version sounds really fresh and not out of line with it's source material. Really energetic.

The new movie missed this element , even the first 20 seconds of the original would’ve made fans SCREAM OUT OF THERE SEATS , this movie is ok but the song is a must I’m sorry , I hope in the sequel they change that
The original is great, but gets exhausting after a few minutes. It's actually really good for fight scenes. This however, is better for the theme song, credits, intro (though the fire in the original makes the 95' version really a Flawless Victory, so maybe not?) It is very similar and celebrates it. The new one is pretty weak compared to both imo.
I appreciate the comment, Benjamin version is catered more towards to the new generation to fill the fandom of old and new comes of the series. So i can understand were he was going with his remix were as I just wanted to take the 1995 version on Techno Syndrome and make a new arrangement while still keeping the Nostalgia of the original. I started on the remix right after the first trailer came out and there was no Techno Syndrome remixed used in that and a lot of fans were kind of upset, but I notice in the HBO Max trailer that they did sample the original a bit in an arrangement that I had not hear before so I went off the idea of that to redo the 1995 version by going and reading up on what the Immortals used and I have a lot of vintage hardware from the 90's so I did some exploring and was able to find almost all the original synths and sound used. I action have a different version on this track where it uses the old Roll Call of Shao Kahn from the retro MK games from the 90's that I might put out later this month and its a might longer then this track, but same beat with different variations of the track. Anyways thanks for the comment and this might be the longest reply I'v done on this remix, but hey I figured i would get this out to explain were my mind was when I produced the track.
