The tournament stage in MK11 has a remix version and the launch trailer also used another remix of it, but yeah not the original version which is annoying

Surely you know that there were Mortal Kombat films in the 90's right? That's where the theme is from, the current movie uses a crappy remix in the end credits.
Let me tell you now. If you’re a fan of M.K you’ll love the movie. It has more backstory behind the characters. I watched it on HBO Max. I’d recommend to any fan.

Technically that was an EDM remix of the OG theme that is also considered to be EDM. MK11 has a similar theme for it's launch trailer that was done by an EDM artist.
