That brutality on chicken boy liu was very satisfying, especially the brutality. And and the fact of the 1st match doing a babality then doing it again to make em explode. Only released in the n64 version.

For whatever reason, they spelled it like that in a lot of the old console versions of MK games. The first time I remember seeing it spelled with an “I” was MK4.

@@djb1ge there’s a shoot-em-up arcade game called Raiden with an I. So they changed the Thunder God’s name to Rayden with a Y after the first game to avoid confusion with that game.

A year late, but his name was spelled as Rayden because of other video game characters having that name. It may have also been to avoid copyright issues.
