The system is equal to MO1. The simple ghosts with only one "arm" dropped 1 to about 20 spirits, but other ghosts had two or three or even more arms. There had been rare "mega ghosts" with hundreds of arms in MO1, but I have only seen them on screen shots. Killing a ghost with two arms is possible with high int&psy and also by using spells like Ether Barrier or Kau Regeneration, but three arms became very difficult for one player only. I'm very interested to see how StarVault will throw the Ether Portal scroll into the game, because in MO1 this scroll dropped from a Cultist High Priest in a dungeon in Sarducaa and had a market price of 5000 gold.
Over time there has been a good number of spiritists with portal spell. During a Halloween event StarVault dropped "many" portal scrolls, I found two on my own and already bought the scroll for 5k gold before.

PSA: *Multiverse Lore and Etherworld Portals drop from Minotaur Boss/Sator Boss, respectively*. This is THE most expensive skill to get into in the game atm. The books will run 1.5k + on the broker (thats low atm). If you do not want to cast Portals yourself, all you need is Multiverse Lore and Ether Lore (Ether Lore can be bought at magic librarians for 1.50g).
Super dumb move from S.V. impossible to run those dungeons without getting pk by big guilds who used a botched launch, exploits and duping to fuck the whole market up for the little guy.
plez no pk me. How do i avoid spirits banishing me? i use the expel spirit buff on myself, but random times they will sometimes banish me and i lose everything.

Great vid but out-of-date info. SV should pay you to update tutorial vids as it helps with retention and is way cheaper, for them, than the alternatives.
Awesome idea XD its still up to date, only difference how you aquire the spiritism spells. You cant buy them from the vendor now but the rest is the same. So not muhc to update here xD but maybe just a video on how and where to get the scrolls. I will write that down.
For me being new and ignorant…. What will I need? I went to librarian but all I could buy was “spiritism” book. Currently leveling to 70 passively but not sure my next steps.
@@roly8736 Henrik would probably say this was our true vision for spirits but we were unable to achieve it due to the engine limitations of MO1. But seriously player ghosts don't look like sea invertebrates and in the old game they were recognizable as something spirit like. Put those silly things in the water where they belong.
Yes they got dropped, from bandits now and some can be bought from the vendors. Also the necromancer in the fabernum tower drop maybe some scrolls, have not tested that yet.
This is super confusing so can I get the stuff for the portal to farm spirits or do I need to spend thousands to get the portal just to get spirit boxes fillrd
@@adamguy3 yes you need the portal spell otherwise you cant keep your spirit boxes. You can also talk to a priest he can also send you to the etherworld with your boxes atleast that is what i heard. I dont know if it works.
@@orangeguardguy Sator Dungeon boss than trade the scroll in the tindrme library, same for mino dungeon boss and troll head. If you hover with your mouse over the speel icon it says skill range if your skill is high above the range than you wont get any exp from casting it. take a higher one. They added that later with the spells that they are not easy buyable but now its costs alot of money or you have a big group of people running the dungeons also works.
Okay.. mal ne Frage. Das Gesichtstatoo des Alvarin bei 7:45.. oder insgesamt andere Tattoos die ich bereits in anderen videos sah, wo sind die alle hin? Ich habe mir das Spiel vor ein paar Tagen gekauft, und die Optionen die ich für Bemalungen habe sind 1. Völlig andere und 2. Alle weit hässlicher.. Kann man da im Spiel noch Bemalungen usw kaufen oder worann liegts?
Es werden viel mehr tatoos laut entwickler ins spiel kommen. Manche könne nur von andewrne spielern dann auf andere tätowiert werdne mit nem skill. Das kommt aber alles noch. Aktuell ist mir nur bekannt das alte tatoos jetzt broken aussehen. Von einer kleineren vielfalt als vorher weis ich nichts. Die fixen das mit dem scheis aussehen von den jetzigen tatoes aber noch xD

how do you come back alive without losing your spirits in you boxes? do you go to a priest and ressurect or cast the portal thing again and go through the portal ?
Good question, it depends necromnacy had some really hardcore spells. And elementalism had some AOE spells and stuff. Dont know to be honest. There is no best or strongest everything depends on the situation whats the storngest or the best. but i would say necromancy was a little to op and than a little to less op and the neverending necromancy discussion xD
part of me is kind of confused, can you cast portal while dead? and do you auto pick up dropped items when you enter the portal? also tragic it has such a high investment, means its not super hybrid viable, i think?
You can only take spirit boxes with you when you enter or leave a portal. if you normally die you will loose your spirit boxes. If you get banished by a other players you get resurrected at nearest priest and loose your spirit boxes.

Basicly yes. ALso some more stuff but nothing that impact combat as much. Banish people to force resurrect on them at niearesdt priest and some vission in death world and you can givew living mages mana but not more yes.
Now you need to find the scrolls in dungeons and by bandit, than you need the scribing skill and write them in your spellbook but the rest is still the same.
Yeah that sad. But now the skill scribing is ingame if you find the scroll multiverse lore you can scribe it in ypur spellbook. Sadly i dont know where to get it. Scrolls are dropped from monsters and stuff. Maybe at fabernum tower I dont know. Havent droped any since.

One you get by hunting the troll and trade it with the magic vendor. The others are also spread I saw Spiritist traders selling it for knowledge scroll. (multi universe knowledge scroll an others) many dropped form bosses and bandits and so on. But the rest of the tutorial is still up to date.
I learned all the lore necessary for spiritism and came into EtherPortal to fill the spirit box, but it is difficult to understand the video because I cannot use English, so it is difficult to understand how to fill the spirit box. Currently no. But there will be a system in the next months, called the veteran system. And henrik said that this will give the people more skill points and proffessionpoints and stuff. His original quote "you will have much more variety and opportunity with your skilltree"
look at the speell there it says skill range. If oyu are far over that than you cant get exp from spell. but i sadsly dont know wich how much exp what spell. But maybe oyu cna figure that out sry its 4 am in the moring spelling is hard xD
Oh that is not normal I need to test this if you press the self cast button it should work always becasue you cant hold the spell anyway your directly self cast. I mean that should work maybe change your keybindings. I dont know but maybe this is it.
@@woopy8 Ah, I hope they will fix that soon. Nothing is more annoying than wrong indications on why somethign doesnt work like in web development when the server says error 500 it could be anything. xD
Dont know but portal or resurrect should get you over this. If you jover over your spells in the spellbook it tells you the spell skill range and if you are far over ypu dont fet exp.
