So, finally, after 4 months in production, Mortem Obire with lyrics is finally out.
I started the project all the way back in June, I had a lot of trouble searching for an FLP to tune it with (Yes, i learned how to tune lyrics myself),
only finding FLMs. I eventually asked @anton2fangs to help and he did. Thank you so much Anton!!
The main thing that held this back was I couldn't get any art panels. Satisfaction with Lyrics didn't have any either, and I had to use one from Newgrounds for Isotope with Lyrics (thanks for 100K views on that, btw!! Im gonna hope i didnt say that already).
After struggling to try to find somebody to do art panels, I gave up and kinda just...forgot about this project. Was too busy with other stuff like Lord X Wrath.
Since October 28th is the 2 year anniversary of the "exhibition" episode of The Mandela Catalogue, I decided to just get this project done.
To substitute for no art panels, I decided to make upgraded gameplay. It has some elements from my original (poopy) Mortem Obire "modchart", but with the official chart and sprites.
The "cutscene" from the original Mortem Obire unfortunately I had to add in video editing because I completely forgot to add it in game. Lol
There's definitely some mistakes in here. I absolutely butchered all the Latin (let me know if I didnt, though), and there might be some tuning mistakes too. I'm not perfect, and this is my first time fully tuning something, but I still hope you all enjoy!!
I do have another lyric cover cooking. I want to not wait 4 months to release it this time, so I will get right back to work on that soon.
Play Angelic Atrocities!! It is one of my favorite FNF mods, despite how simple it is, and I really want it to be more popular (which is part of the reason why I made this lyric cover!!) gamebanana.com/mods/448347
I was so excited when I saw this release. I have been following the mod since the Gabriel sprites in it were first shown (April 2022 i think?). But it was well worth the wait.
I may do more lyric covers with songs from this mod in the future? I don't know. I did actually want to package a Peccatum lyric cover and Mortem Obire with Lyrics into a single lyric cover video, but I didn't have time for that.
