Used to live in Amsterdam (near Wibautstraat) back in '09, sorta wanted to move permanently back then and I wish I had but I moved back to Winnipeg instead. As a writer, it is difficult to deal with the freelance aspect. What are the apartment prices like right now as compared to Canada? Same wild real estate market by percentage, or is it more reasonable?
Honestly, compared to Vancouver I think it's really reasonable. Prices can go a LOT lower once you look a few steps outside of the ring and that distance is nothing compared to if you were to move to the suburbs in Vancouver.
@@CherylJesse Yeah, I am in Winnipeg so it is not quite Vancouver expensive, that's for sure. I should have bought an apartment in Amsterdam instead of a house in Winnipeg in 2009. So it goes.
