The blackened thrash version of Death SS/ Paul Chain , and one of the best EP's ever released and on all metal genres. A masterpiece of occult / evil sounding metal soundscapes. Timeless.
Awesome. Long time since I listend to Mortuary Drape. Love this kind of stuff, similar to old Rotting Christ, Varathorn, Necromantia, Mystifier. Love it.
Great mix between technical and atmospheric. Also the sound is dynamic with a loud bass which i always appreciate. This is how Metal should sound like.
sempre bello riscoltare i miei vecchi amici di Biella che ascoltavo 30 anni fa .... WALTER aka WLDNESS PERVERSION , sei sempre il mio grande GRANDE HERO
Richard Wolfe It certainly sounds pretty similar to the soundtracks from those. There's an '80s band from Italy called Black Hole that actually combines Italian horror movie soundtracks with metal in an interesting way.
Sounds like (classic) Mayhem and Autopsy got locked up on the set of a Hammer film and started jamming after getting high and listening to Apocalyptic Raids. Shit rules.
Sounds like Snoop Dogg (Calvin Broadus Jr.) and Doctor Dre (Andre Young) smoked a fat doobie (marijuana/weed/pot).). /Mary Jane/hookah/wacky tobacky/funny grass/blunt/joint/funny cigarette then listened to some Parliament and got in the Stu and went fire mode. It’s like if the chronic was made in 2014.
I have always said one of Americas earliest and rawest blackmetal bands in early years and live. Seen with VOIVOD and Die Kruezen BEST SHOW EVER I mean EVER 1998/99?. Im 52 now those years are tiny bit melted together hence all the LSD/SHROOMS/POT we did back then.
Brilliant ! Came here after a Phantom (Worm) & Ken (Kens Death Metal Krypt) advise ! Great find...love that the bass is so audible...also great kinda crossover between different styles...
This is amazing fucking music. The almost perfect marriage of gothic and black metal . . So fucking awesome. .how did I not know of this band before now! Its the best of both worlds. .an influence on theatre des vampyrees? I must wonder. .
This is beyond any discription. Talking about gothic in this context means more of a feeling, than a scene oriented sound. Pretty similar to early black metal, which was classified through a uniting feel and look, not norsecore esque copy cat music.
esto me lo prestaron unos manes de bello x alla en 1994 fui vecino de ellos vivi en la ,isma cuadra saludos si en cualquier momento ven esto recuerdos brutales
It's true Italian is not the perfect language for heavy music in general, but in exteme metal I don't fucking care about lyrics the sound of words is more important for me, i consider the growling more like another instrument. For example: I fucking love Kvelertak and i even if I can't understand a word in Norwegian I think it sounds more evil than English, or sometime the use of Latin language generates a more occult atmosphere.
I wonder if they band this record someday for using the term. Mother instead of birthing person hahaha.... then they hit Danzigs Mother! Hahahha better buy albumn now before its band in UK hahaha
